Residhome Geneve Prevessin Le Carre d'Or

I liked the fact it was very quiet, spacious and the beds were very good. I disliked the fact that smoked was blown up from the house nearby into the compulsory vents in the northern bedroom. I guess there is little that can be done but it was quite annoying. I previously stayed in the building G in July 2022. It was very warm at the time and the noise of the road prevented me from opening the windows at night and that was not great. Other from that I really appreciate the quality of the beds, the cleanliness and the very kind and obliging staff

Location was marvellous, close enough to Geneva Airport that the cost of the ride in was far, far less than the cost of an equivalent Swiss Hotel. Quiet location, great parking, it would be a good base for a longer term stay if we were in the region. The reception staff were great, very attentive and courteous. The 12:00 noon checkout was fantastic as well. Will stay there again for sure if we are in the region.

A few issues with cleanliness - we had a ground floor unit and the outside of the sliding door was a touch dusty, plus there was an old sponge lying on the ground! Small gripes, the inside was very clean indeed and that's what counts.

spacious room, comfy beds, nice storage spaces to keep room clean and tidy. This place is VERY CLOSE to Geneva. Actually I did not realize this is in France when I made the reservation. We did our Geneva tour (united nations, etc) with no problem. We surprisingly found about the Voltaire House and we have a nice walk in the Chateau de Voltaire. There is a Chinese Buffet (Restaurant HONG) nearby. I was a little confused about parking - the management was very honest and informed me of free parking. There is an reception on the campus opens in business hours and part of Saturday. We were luck to arrive right before she closes on Saturday.

a little bit far away from the town. You will nee a car or taxi. Hallway has some cleaning detergent smell due to lack of ventilation in the hallway. No problem inside the apartment. Toilet and shower are in separate rooms. There is no fan nor window in the toilet room.

We stayed in the two bed room duplex apartment. It was very peaceful , comfortable and situated in a quiet neighborhood, there is however not much to do around. If you have a car then its best to stay here overnight and visit Geneva and also other French villages during day hours. Also its a great place for kids. The balcony and free outdoor parking was also a plus point.

Clean and tidy. Grassy area for dogs. Kitchen perfectly adequate. Good size fridge. Bath and shower. Enough parking. Overall it was very good for our needs - going to a dog show.

TV could have had an English Channel. WiFi was good enough to watch Netflix on my phone. Not enough loo roll and could do with extra dishwasher tablets. These were available on request at reception. Extra toiletries for a longer stay would be good. No room cleaning unless paid for on top.

Location very convenient for CERN and Geneva. Generally quiet with a little traffic noise. Room was fine although I didn't cook. Would recommend

We forgot something we didn't even notice, and they kept it for us. The small kitchen was useful for our family.

The girls said there sofa bed wasn't comfortable. In one of the room the locked was broken at the showers room. We preferred 3rd floor then 2nd floor. It was really hot at night during our stay on July. I wish they had a Air conditioner

Great location for the airport.

They don't have air conditioning unless you buy it... not happy bc it was hot, and we kept fiddling with it thinking we could get it to come on and it never did! Nothing tells you they don't have air unless you pay a deposit for a fan!! That's not what we wanted! We wanted air when it was 90 degrees outside!

I got 1st floor for my stay, so i have easy access for my luggages. Place is tidy and clean. My kids love the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment. Kitchen is available to prepare family meal. Location is 2 minutes from NETTO supermarket by car. I chose to stay here because it is cheaper compared to Geneva, Switzerland. And only 30 minutes away by car to get to Geneva.

The hotel is located at 5 min from Leclerc, route de Ferney. It's a quiet place which is not opened on weekends : what I mean : if you want to book a room for the weekend, you should do it before coming. If you decide on Saturday to stay for the night, the reception desk will be closed and the booking is not possible online. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet. If you stay for several weeks, you can discuss with the reception on the price. It's close to CERN and two different border points with Geneva. I recommend the place.

That is not possible to book on Saturday for Saturday and Sunday.
