Ibis Budget Dole-Choisey

We were arriving from Italy as a stop over on the way back home to the UK. Having spent 3 hours earlier in the day queuing to pass through the Monte Blanc tunnel we arrived here at one minute to midnight and the carpark gate was shut and locked. However one very quick conversation (in my broken French) at the gate intercom and the lady still servicing the reception desk at that time of night opened the gate immediately for us. She was excellent and checked us in very quickly, at exactly the price pre-shown on Booking.com. The room was very clean with anything you could need. The beds were quite solid, but very comfortable. Absolutely NO complaints, and breakfast, served in the foyer in the morning was plentiful with a good choice. The locked carpark was an added extra I was not expecting from the hotel description so we could leave all our heavy bags safely outside all night.

There was nothing I didn't like. "Yes" the hotel room is basic, but it is also very well priced with a comfortable bed for weary travelers.

close to motorway exit, and eat in eatery next door, for basics like burgers ect breakfast is ok, buffet cereals, cold meats, cheese yogurts, tea coffee, juice rooms and building very clean, also the parking area. supermarkets and other eateries across the rd in retail park. we have stayed here before and is perfect for what we require, one night stay

shower cubicle in the bedroom is very small, but is perfect for your needs.

It was functional and practical. We staid there at a stop overnight to cut our journeys down south of France and back up to the North. The location was perfect for us with a 1mn walk to a boulangerie, pataterie and Buffalo Grill. The bedrooms are far from luxury and very basic which is expected from the Ibis Budget. On the night coming back to the UK, our bedroom smelt strongly of cigarette smoke : we got given another room straight away. The staff was extremely helpful.

Room was well maintained and clean; convenient location for a road-trip stopover - just off the autoroute and with own separate car park; breakfast was plentiful and good quality; friendly and helpful staff

Twin room was a little small for 2 people and basic in terms of amenities, but this is to be expected given the star rating and 'budget' branding; that said, perfectly adequate for a stopover

Very convenient for the motorway and supermarkets just round the corner with petrol etc. Comfortable rooms and friendly staff with a discount on offer at the pleasant and good value Buffalo Grill restaurant next door. A handy stop off!

Room prices have crept up a bit recently so not as great value as it once was but still a great choice!

nothing especially. It was well serviced with very pleasant helpful staff. The only thing we didn’t like in our room were the LED lights that ran round the wall as we could not switch them off at the source as the switch didn’t seem to work. It was too late in the evening to go to the desk and query the problem as we were dressed for bed .

it was a little hard to find. I had stayed in two other ibis properties in two other French towns & both were signposted throughout the city. On the route we took, we couldn’t find sign posts and relying on google maps wasn’t easy

Inexpensive hotel but very comfortable. Staff was very good and the breakfast was surprisingly good. Hotel is located off the Eurovelo 6 and the hotel was kind enough to store our tandem bicycle.

The room is small and comfortable but if you are not a couple you may not like to take a shower since it is in the middle of the room

Pleasant staff. Comfy bed and clean bedding. Room small but very clean. Continental breakfast buffet. Plenty of choice. Places to eat around hotel and also had supermarket. Good value for money hotel close to motorway.

easy access from the motor way. great American restaurant next door to unwind in. beds were comfy, everything worked and was clean.

breakfast was a bit basic but was obviously going to be, however I had some cereal a croissant and a cake to set me on my way. coffee was perfectly fine and the juice was tasty.
