The receptionist was very friendly and so was the maid. The location in the old town was perfect. Good shower. There was even a portable fan against the summer heat. Two bath towels. And the pinnacle was the bergère, the eternal French bon-gout!

Cosy room, perfect for an intermediate stop during the journey. It's right in the center, where you can go for shopping or dinner.
The room was quite dark, but that also helped to keep it a bit cooler. Since there was no air-conditioning available (as described) we left the window open, because it was quite warm. But the next morning (around 6) was a bit noisy because someone was busy outside.

Great location, really central but quiet. Rooms mostly well equipped (tower fans were good). Well priced breakfast available at a partner cafe around the corner. parking available close by. Good value for money as a stopover, would stay again.
Some minor things - no mirror in bedroom and pillows were a little too thick and hard. These were minor points though.

I arrived late and was made to feel very welcome. The room, bathroom and bed were all great. Chalon sur Saone is a beautiful town to visit and the hotel is a perfect place to stay.

We were generally happy with the stay. The room was nice for the price. The communication was quick and easy.
The rooms are very close to each other, and it can get quite noisy in the morning. We shared the toilets with a few other rooms and this didn't seem quite Covid friendly. And the wifi didn't really work

We just used the hotel as an overnight stop between the north and south. It was entirely adequate for this need with a good selection of restaurants very close by.
It was fine but for this price you dont get A/C :)
