The Originals Boutique, Hôtel des Orangers, Cannes (Inter-Hotel)

- The staff were amazing! We arrived at the hotel 4 hours before check in time and not only were able to get a room straight away but also were upgraded to a room with a sea view. Furthermore the staff were very polite, sincere and joyful at every turn during our stay. - Pool area was superb for a boutique hotel with enough room and a large pool to cool off during a heat wave. - Breakfast was very diverse, lot of options to take a great start for your day. We enjoyed the many fresh fruits and if something was finished the staff brought more when asked.

- Room was a bit small. Not enough room around the bed. The walls were also a little bit thin. We could sometimes hear someone do something in another room, but it wasn't bothering us.

The staff were very accommodating, always happy to help. We had checked out, but they were more than happy for us to use the pool as we had a late flight. The complimentary ice lollies by the pool was a lovely touch. In a great location, just a stone throw away from Cannes old town. I would definitely recommend.

Upstairs needs some TLC. The carpets look dated and old, and the bedroom doors have a cheap, polystyrene look to them. Downstairs is modern and lovely, which is important for first impressions, but they need to spend money on modernising upstairs and the bathroom. Having said this, it is 3 star hotel, yes it is a little dated but 5 stars for cleanliness.

The hotel was really good value for money. Nice breakfast, good location and a nice pool. The staff were also really friendly. Would happily go back.

It's a little close to big road so can be a bit noisy and not as easy to access as some hotels that would be in the center.

The location is excellent, very close to the beach and the suquet (old town) as well as walkable to La Croisette (about 20 mins). The staff are very nice. The pool is clean. The aircon was very good. Beds are comfortable. They give you complimentary towels for the pool. It’s very good value for money for Cannes

They only provide all in one gel to wash hair and body, which was attached to the wall and ran out then wasn’t replenished. The shower pressure it excellent but it is then very hard not to soak bathroom because of the way it’s set up.

A cozy small hotel located on a hill above the sea in the picturesque old part of the city, with a small terrace and a swimming pool. Hearty standard breakfast, friendly staff, excellent comfortable room exceeded all expectations from a three-star hotel. The main trump card of the hotel is a fluffy resident, a calm, unobtrusive, almost invisible cat. We love animals, so this was a nice bonus for us. Also, when you go down from the hotel, there will be an ALDI supermarket on the right, and when you turn to the left, there will be a road to the beach and there is a wonderful closed park on the right, almost near the embankment, where you can relax and enjoy the coolness.

Unfortunately, we could not see the sea, mountains or other scenery of the old town from the window of our room. But this disadvantage gave an incentive to spend less time in the hotel and more to walk along the embankment and the city. Also take into account that the hotel is located on a hill, and although the sea is not far away, you will have to constantly go down and up to get to it.

Been there many times, breakfast has always been with great quality, many options for both vegetarians and meat eaters. Either almond or soy milk (or both) have always been available. Also gluten-free bread, fresh orange juice machine. Good coffee and also a capsule machine in the rooms. Superior and deluxe rooms have freshly renovated bathrooms, sea view and rooms with balcony were also nice. Some standard rooms may look older, but are clean. Helpful staff - if available, they are flexible to offer suitable rooms (with or without bath, balcony, late check-out etc). Quiet lobby to relax and work before or after your stay. Good location, quiet place and just next to the old town, all the restaurants, festival areas and the beach. Free parking on the whole street (just not a lot of space).

There is a very calm and friendly house cat wondering around in the lobby and breakfast area, so if you are very allergic, it might be an issue. Personally I am slightly allergic and it wasn't a problem during my multiple stays. Was a little bit difficult to find by car due to tight one-way streets on the side of the hill, but wasn't a problem.

Very close to souqet with restaurants and rather close to beach. Family rooms availble for smaller families.

Not all staff members at reception desk were equally friendly and attentative, there is definitely some room for improvement. However, Sophie at reception desk was very, very friendly and very welcoming. Merci beacoup de votre hospitalité, Sophie!

Great location, stuff was very friendly. whenever we asked for something they were quick to help. it says the hotel is 12 minutes away but actually once you get the hang of it in 5 minutes you are on the beach. the neighborhood around is also really great for the restaurants. everything was good, the only downside was that the parking of the hotel was full. this has nothing to do with the hotel but maybe it’s good for other people to know in advance that they might need to look for an underground parking. our advice is not to leave your car in the surrounding streets, even if it’s free people seem to find it normal to push cars around if they don’t have space

The location: close to Rue Meynadier,marche Forville, the sights of the Suquet area (namely the tower and the Musee Castres) The room was clean, had a lovely view of the Mediterranean and super comfy beds and pillows.

The $15/person breakfast was pretty bad (ate therr only once.) The food looked like it was 2-3 days old, the scrambled eggs were watery, the bread a bit stale. No parking on site by the parking Suquet isn't far.

great location, fabulous staff and quite a few amenities packed into a modestly sized room. Good value for price. And there’s a hotel cat! (good by me 🙂)

We had 9 rooms and there were some inconsistencies (no kettle or coffee, balcony/no balcony, nicer views etc) despite same price paid. But staff were so accommodating, I’m sure they would ensure your comfort if something were missing/needed. And there’s a hotel cat! (not good by some folks 🙂)
