Great location,close to all immenities.
5th floor with no lift,which was never mentioned, outside front door very untidy,rubbish and an unkept tiny front garden with the number 29 barely visible.

Inside the accommodation was very clean, nice shampoo and soap, towels and beddings provided. Recently renovated inside, they did a good job with the works. Wifi connection was good. V close to the port.
The agents were unresponsive to phone calls and email questions I asked (sent lots of repetitive emails but did not answer questions I needed). Not clear from booking info that the apartment was on the top floor of a 4 storey flat with no lift, which is not good for guests with mobility issues. No breakfast provided, not clear if parking was available. Externally the building is run down.

We enjoyed the view from the apartment. The host was very easily reached when needed. We like that there were a lot of shops around. We like quietness.
It was nowhere to mention that the apartment was on the fifth floor, and there were no lifts in the building. There was no kettle available except a coffee machine (is a downfall as if we want to enjoy a cup of tea, we have to go out and get from the shop). We did not like the smell that we were experiencing (cigarette and drugs) whilst going up the stairs to the apartment.

we drove round for at least 30 mins in a very run down area in Calais trying to find to,find the Accomodation but to no,avail. We became increasingly worried about leaving my car wherever the accomodation was. I don’t think we would have found anywhere to park anyway. Bags of rubbish lying around, buildings in very poor repair. as you can imagine 2 women on their own did not feel,safe. I sent a msg to the owner as we weren’t able to contact them. We drove to a lovely restaurant that we knew and they managed to book us in to the Holiday Inn, Coquelles.. I feel that we should have a refund for a service not used. The accomodation might well have been OK but is it safe to park wherever it was. !!!!
The area looked very unsafe and the also didn’t manage to find the property
