very confortable bed and bathroom, very clean and super kind staff.

a bit far away from the center (15 min walk uphill). front door has a code to access after reception is closed for the day which they give you in a paper at check in-however because i was checking in i didnt read the paper right then bc i was dealing with my bags. when i came back at night i didnt know the code-luckily i had a phone with internet and was able to check booking and see they had sent the code to me via message! this is obviously on me for not reading, but it would have been nice to have it more strongly highlighted during check in. reception closes at 7 pm, too, which wasnt mentioned before.

The hotel is very well located. As the hotel website makes clear it is a work in progress for the new owners and is not pretending otherwise. We were comfortable, received smiling and informative attention from the management, the rooms and linen were scrupulously clean and the breakfast very good. In other words everything we wanted for a short stay. I wish the owners well!

My pillow was a little too flat for complete comfort.

Great central location and walkable distance to visit the old town. Good choice of food at breakfast, not just a basic continental breakfast. Our room at the back had great views up to the old town and the mountains. Staff very friendly. Briancon town centre had a great vibe and places to eat and drink. Had a lockable garage where we could keep the motorbike overnight.

The ensuite bathroom was very small.

Only a short walk from the train/bus station. Reception was very friendly & helpful. We were given a free local bus ticket for the duration of our stay. There is a fabulous Italian run pizza restaurant right next door with a common door, so no need to go out in the cold. There is a lift for access to rooms.

Though not a problem for us, be aware as an older hotel the bathroom is a little 'tight' and a bit awkward to negotiate the toilet.

The hotel is family owned, and the service was always very friendly. They were also able to offer me many free benefits, such as a room upgrade, and letting me check-in at noon, and check-out at 5pm, since I arrived and left by night train. The hotel is well situated, and has a great view.

My room faced the road, and so there is some road noise, but I did not find this to disrupt my sleep.

A small and cozy hotel in the wonderful town of Briançon. Friendly staff, fresh and tasty breakfast (best croissants om our entire trip), and the room was basic but spotless and very clean. Free parking in the backyard of the hotel. Nice pizza restaurant next door.

We visited Briançon during a very hot period and a fan in the room would have made the sleeping experience more comfortable.

Loved the opportunity to check in late as the train came in with a delay. Also, the location was great, just around the corner from the train station and right there for the L'etape du Tour expo next morning! Also thanks for the staff to be able to store my bike until picking up later in the evening. Merci beaucoup!

All according to the expectations.

Motorcycle friendly hotel, very polite and helpful owners, greeted with a dry towel on my arrival after a long and tiring day riding in the rain. Great breakfast and very competitively priced rooms. Secure closed parking for bikes.

The building is probably old and renovations are here and there, but it looks like it'll get there very soon.

secure parking, warm and friendly staff. breakfast is great. no surprises, it markets itself as a two star budget hotel so dont expect more and you will be happy
