Novotel Avignon Centre

This Novotel is brilliantly located for Avignon Centre train station, which is particularly useful for doing days trips out of the city. It's also only about 15 minutes walk away from Palais des Papes and the other main sites of Avignon itself. We really enjoyed having the swimming pool in a city hotel and the staff were friendly and efficient.

The breakfast is decent but nothing special and it would have been nice to have a bit of a wider selection of hot food available. It wasn't a problem during our stay but worth knowing the hotel is between a main road and the railway tracks.

Nice hotel and rooms clean and tidy. Pool area was good and free towels to go swimming. Plenty for kids to do and the hotel had a good bar area. Restaurant was large and breakfast in the morning was fine. Would recommend a 15min walk to town where there are plenty of bars and restaurants as there was not much of a choice at the hotel and portions were small

The room was large and quiet, the bathroom good and spacious, breakfast was good with a large variety. The city has lovely place to go, palaces, restaurants and museums.

The hotel is outside the old city and not so close. With lots of rain that was a problem. Room service was very difficult to get because of just one guy taking care of a party at the same time. The hotel was too expensive to what it offered.

The breakfast was good a lot choose for my taste, room was lovely and clean included bathroom ,location was closed to Avignon centre and the train station and the staff was really nice and efficient and friendly....

the internet could be better and secure when you want to used for the laptop , do not mind to paid my room in advance but the extra "room service or restaurant "I did not like you retain some money in my card which I did not used after all and I paid expensive with my card , I did not understand the purpose of the exercise ....

Loved everything about our stay! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Always greeted us with a smile : ) We even left some belongings behind by mistake and they offered to mail them back to us!

Can’t think of anything that could have improved our stay. Just a great experience overall.

Excellent location. Spacious garage, entrance by foot directly from a hotel elevator. Very friendly staff. Rooms very spacious, comfortable beds.

Very hectic breakfast. Staff should be organized better in refilling. The cutlery, mugs and plates were constantly lacking and you should wait for quite some time to fill up your plate since it was always something missing. Room doors are rather heavy. I have never seen such heavy doors. I don't see how an elderly person could open the room door since we had a difficulty with it. Also, not important, but I think that hotel in this price range should offer more toiletries (there were not toothbrush and paste, razor, slippers...).

Location is very close to old town. Room size is decent . Cheap and convenient parking .

Elevator size is small and one of two is in maintenance. The hotel is so popular with group tarveller, as result not much choice to have during peak breakfast time .

Great hotel, very good located, great staff, very helpful. The breakfast was very good, various products. There is also a nice pool which we didn't use. There is a parking place with a daily cost.

We were supposed to get water in the room every day, but this stopped after day two, do not know why.
