The St. Regis Almasa Hotel, Cairo

Everything was above my expectations, the staff ( I can't mention a name) because all of them were really nice and friendly, the food there is delicious we tried the breakfast buffet which has variety of choices, room service food was excellent and Al Khedewy restaurant which is Egyptian cuisine. If you are going for relaxation this is the right place, you don't need to go out of the hotel and soon the Plaza will be open and am sure there will be many shops which will open inside.

About the hotel there is nothing Ican say I didnt like it, but I wished if the Plaza was open, the hotel area is new and under construction, and am sure that soon the city will be awesome.

Great new facilities, spacious rooms with everything one might need. Overall, excellent service and very enjoyable experience. The hotel has a nice spa and two big pools, also a big space for nice walks in the evenings. The staff is is very professional and helpful (breakfast staff and a bartender Bassem were especially attentive and made our experience even better with their great service and very pleasant interaction). After booking our 6 days stay we decided to come back as the place was the best we saw in Egypt, including a very nice Egyptian restaurant in the premises.

The drive to the city is a bit long but given the noise that Cairo centre can bring, it was nice to have calm and spacious place to come back in the evenings.

The hotel is fancy hotel and its good for someone who wants a quite place and good for a person who will not leave the hotel location during his stay

The location of the hotel is far from everything so no services near by the hotel no mall no shops no supermarkets. The hotel area is a new area which i believe it will take years untill they complete the infrastructure so it wiuld be so booring and i prefer a hotel neay by everything

Great rooms, lovely breakfast - location not so great - but who cares when you stay in such a nice hotel. Really enjoyed the experience, the friendly staff and the good service. The restaurants are well-priced with super quality, really enjoyed every bite.

Wished more people will come to that hotel. It was under-occupied for such a great hotel. The hotel is so spacious, may be some more Golf carts to move people around.

A beautiful brand new property with great landscaping design and facilities, some of which are still to open. The wavy beach is a great unique feature and generally an inviting place to relax with spacious halls and in-room bathroom facilities. Has a spacious spa feel to the entire hotel.

I don’t like the general rule of Egypt hotels that kids are not allowed in spa/indoor pool facilities. Regis has a play station and kids room within same quarters, but I feel they perhaps there should be family hours when children can use sauna and warm indoor pool facilities.

The place was stunning. Excellent accommodations & excellent food.

Much of the complex was unfinished and the neighborhood was almost entirely unfinished. It was very strange. There were also secret, surprise charges that hit my bank account after I returned. I booked my room for 4 nights on Booking.com for a total price of $597.44 and the St. Regis charged me $595.78, which was close enough considering exchange rates. However, I was later hit with an additional $153.46 charge without explanation. I didn't stay an extra night, so what was that?

Egyptian are very humble people. special thanks to Mr.Hossam Front officer at reception who make special arrangements for me to visit property & look after my all needs. i will try to visit them again soon. This property is heaven on earth

There was some construction was going on. but is okay.

Breakfast is really nice, lots of varieties Room is clean and spacious Spa facilities are amazing

dinner at the Italian restaurant was horrible. The menu is limited, the waiter didn’t know the menu well. We asked him specific questions about our order, and he didn’t know what he was talking because eventually we got exactly what we didn’t want. He was rude talking to us after saying it’s our fault that we didn’t understand him. Also, the main pool was under maintenance and was closed and the indoor pool is quite small and looks like a swimming training facility

Myself & family an AMAZING stay at the most beautiful St. Regis Almasa hotel. It was both my Mother & Aunties birthday & our wonderful butler Alaa made it very special preparing cakes, chocolate’s & decorations for them both as requested. Our breakfast server Bassam was so lovely & always made us feel special and welcomed each & every morning & The nice door man Ismail was always welcoming & helpful throughout our stay. So a very special thanks to all 3 of them. You also MUST try the food at La sponda as Chef Ahmed prepared such amazing food to our requirements. Best Hotel I’ve ever experienced.

Only thing that isn’t so great currently is the location of the hotel as it’s very far & costly to get into Old Cairo but in a few years when the new administrative city is built this will not be a problem as transport such as trains and buses will be much easier to access & I will visit again!
