Location was top, rooms nice and modern, very clean. Breakfast was good, with all the choices including fresh fruit and warm items but very crowded. Maids very friendly.

Reception bit uninterested, not even greeting when anyone came in. Information about parking misleading. You book unrefundable , reserve a parking place and then get the answer no place available but you can not cancel anymore. Luckily there is a big shopping center nearby with huge parking but for less mobile people I would not consider that a great option. Overall great stay, would come again for sure knowing what I know now

We want to say a huge thank you to Hotel Astoria. We had a busy stay in Prague, so after a long day, coming back to a comfy and clean hotel room is what made the stay even better. The room was very clean, bright and a great size. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean. We had a room with a balcony which was amazing. Breakfast came included with the hotel. The food and drinks provided were lovely. It had your usual breakfast food: eggs, sausages, bacon, beans, cereal, pastries, fruit and I’m sure there’s more I’ve forgot to mention. The location was amazing. It was only a 3 minute walk to the old town square. The hotel was very good value for money. The staff at Astoria were very smiley and welcoming. The air conditioning was very good (when it worked). We had an issue the first night where it turned off and it did not want to turn back on. We ended up doing research about air conditioning and worked out what the flashing lights meant and thankfully it turned back on the next day. If anyone who is reading the comments because their air conditioning stopped, set the controls to what the picture shows and do not put the temperature below 15 degrees (especially when it’s 30 degrees outside). You might have to wait a few hours for the process to come out of delay mode, but be patient. We enjoyed our stay at Astoria and would definitely recommend and come back if ever visiting Prague in the future :). When the air conditioning stopped working, a member of the staff came up to help but nothing was working so he tried his best and provided a fan unit. However, that didn’t work so he gave us a fan. It was still uncomfortably hot in the room after a few hours so we went downstairs and spoke to a different member of staff hoping we’d be able to swap a room to which the man said they are fully booked so unfortunately we couldn’t. He said he would try have someone come in the morning and fix it, but this did not happen.

We stayed here for one night and it was awesome. The location is right in the middle of old town and really close to everything interesting. Our room was upgraded to the suit with balcony which was amazing. The room had a stylish design, all necessary tiny things (e.g. shoehorn!, slippers) and was clean. We have also used parking which was close to the hotel. Check in and check out were easy and trouble-free. I’m general, it’s a great place to stay!

The breakfast was a bit modest for our taste.

This hotel was excellent and the staff was even better. This was my 70 yo mom's first time traveling alone and ever since I made the booking a few months prior, I contacted the hotel about this. They were incredibly helpful and reassured me that they would take good care of her. They helped with scheduling tours, transportation, dinner plans, and more. I was initially in contact with Petra who was great and then was in contact with Liliane who was also great. Liliane let me know that she'd make sure to be there when my mom arrived and she followed through on that. She was able to make my mom feel at home right away and helped her throughout her entire stay. They even upgraded her room. She said the hotel was in great condition, very clean, and the location and the included breakfast were wonderful. She was able to walk around with no concerns and was close to everything. Her flight out was very early (she left the hotel at 4am) and they had a breakfast box waiting for her. Would highly recommend this hotel and the staff.

- amazing location, really close to the city center and the main attractions - kind staff at the reception - nice breakfast (we’re vegans so we really appreciated soy milk and fresh fruit; coffee was also really good) - cleanliness (really spotless, bed was made every day and the towels were changed) - comfortable bed and pillows, we slept really well - spacious room and big wardrobe

- wi-fi was really bad (maybe in our room 001 only) - our room was on the ground flood which seemed a bit weird; however, there was also a small terrace (great if you are a smoker); the room was a bit cold and it got really loud at about 6 am (don’t know where noise was coming from, though, upstairs probably)

The location was ideal, just a few minutes walk from the Old Town Square, the Astronomical Clock and the Our Lady Before Tyn Church where astronomer Tycho Brahe is buried. The staff is superb. Petra at the front desk is the friendliest and most professional receptionist I've ever met. Truly exceptional and a credit to her employer. I'll come back just because of her. There's a convenience store opposite the entrance.

The location of this hotel is perfect, it's only a 5min walk to the city and there is also an Indian restaurant in front of the hotel which is very good. The breakfast offers everything you need and more (müsli, yogurt, bread, vegetables, cheese, etc.). The room was very nice, modern and clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and modern. The hotel is in a really loud environment but you hear nothing unless you open the windows, it's really soundproof.

The room could be a bit greater but it was only my brother and my room. The room of my parents was great for example. I think you can tell this when you book. But that was it, it was a really nice stay. And the parking is a bit complicated because your car will be parked in a garage whose door is closed. Every time you want to go to your car you must tell at the reception and a guy comes with you and holds a car to the door of the garage, but you don't receive the card.

Spot on location, clean and tidy room with air conditioning.

Perhaps a little more selection at breakfast and also I suggest reconfiguring the dining area - it feels overly cramped with the breakfast bar in the wrong place. Staff and customers were having to climb over each other to serve/gather breakfast items which just felt chaotic. If the breakfast bar could be located further into the room then it could help the flow of people.

The location was great. we were only 150 meters or so from the train station so we didn't have to take our bags over any bridges! Breakfast was great. We were lucky and they changed our booking to their sister hotel (literally on the other side of the walkway) and we had a room upgrade and our room was bigger and better than expected. The breakfast was good too. Great location and place to stay as a couple with a toddler.

Not a huge fan of having to book a time for breakfast, but the room was very small so I can understand why they do it. Also very italian breakfast. No eggs and bacon.
