Maximus Resort

This hotel is set just outside Brno. I booked it for the parking because I couldn't find anything in town with parking. I am so glad I did. The hotel is simply amazing. The hotel itself is modern with good facilities. But it's the spa/sauna complex which really makes this hotel stand out. For a small fee, you can use the thermal pools, whirlpools and huge sauna complex. We spent all afternnon in there and it was really awesome. I would travel here again just to stay at this hotel and enjoy the spa. Other positives are the large car park with free parking. Breakfast was good with enough vegan choices. We also ate in the restauarant which only has limited vegan options but what they offer is really nice. Throughout the hotel, staff are friendly and helpful.

Nothing. I loved this hotel.

- Amazing wellness area: Great selection of spacious saunas, variety of steam and finish saunas, aromatherapy, rituals, music etc. Spacious whirlpools, indoors and outdoors. - Well-equipped wellness bars, range of drinks and food available. Great quality cocktails and prosecco, served in elegant plastic glasses and can be enjoyed even inside the whirlpools. - We appreciated that the wellness was open untill 22:30 so we could enjoy even after dinner. - Overall, the wellness area is just amazing. - The hotel was great too, we stayed one night only, but everything went really well. - Great breakfast buffet, and the dinner was very tasty, too.

- Pillows in the bedroom, there was a selection of 2 pillows but neither was comfortable. I suggest the hotel to equip the rooms with some more sophisticated anatomic pillows for a higher level of comfort.

Beautiful hotel, very kind staff, excellent food. Wellness is amazing although it was very full most of the time.

Bathroom need upgrade for 4 star hotel. There is no kids area and kids cannot go in the pool! !allowed only from 145 cm meaning no kids allowed. Should be warning on the booking to avoid big disappointment from kids. You see beautiful hotel with pool then you have to explain why kids cannot go. And the staff sends you to a neighboring hotel with wellness where kids are allowed... looks very bad for Maximus

The personal was exceptionally friendly, kind and helpful. The room was cleaned each day and the hotel as a whole was very clean in each corner. A great spa space! Many different saunas, resting-reading rooms, bars and a marvelous outdoor warm pool.

The location is far from the city. The breakfast's variety was medium minus and it hasn't changed during our 5 days of stay. No water drain hole in bathrooms floor! Any water going out from the shower must be drained with towels.

You can combine your accommodation with attending of the wellness and spa complex. The breakfast was good. The staff was friendly und smiling;)

The heating system was strange. We turned the heating off in the evening. During the night, the heating turned itself on to maximum and we couldn’t do anything, it was extremely hot. Then suddenly in the early morning the next day it turned itself off.

Breakfast was excellent. The one-bedroom suite was spacious and clean, with a nice balcony. The spa had some lovely cocktails and everything was clean, and the water temperature was perfect. Very helpful stuff.

Not ideal the fact that after you already pay quite a big price for the accommodations, if you wanted to simply access the pool you still had to pay an entrance. I understand for the rest of te spa area, but I think the pool should be included.

everything was great! we liked how close it was to the wellness center. the restaurant for breakfast and dinner was delicious! parking was also no problem at all, we arrived in the late afternoon and so the „regular“ parking lot was quite busy, but after a couple minutes we found a parking space. the room was spacious with a really big balcony and view of the lake!

Fantastic breakfasts! So many delicious choices. I’m sure we gain some pounds. Very nice restaurant inside and outside. Staff was very polite.

Shower!! During showering water was changing from extremely hot to cold on its own. Scary. Shower and bathroom can definitely use some shelving.

Amazing wellness and spa zone! The sauna staff is fantastic! One of the best in Czech and Europe gourmet restaurant

Don't be surprised if you see a girl with a shovel on your terrace in the morning )) This pretty gardener keeps this green beauty alive.

Only stayed here for a night, the hotel restaurant is pretty good, staff was friendly.

We missed breakfast because it's served only until 10.00. Also there are a lot of spa & wellness guests not staying at the hotel so as a hotel guest you do not get anything "extra" or a discounted price if you want to visit wellness. I would appreciate if there were limited hours for the public, at least as it can be quite crowded.
