The location and property is very nice. The pool area was great. Staff was very friendly and helpful

Service at the pool bar was REALLY slow to non existent. Also the bar tender staff was reduced at 4:00pm just when things started to get busy. Very strange

I had a 45 m open water swim every day in the clearest most beautiful water. The fitness center, while somewhat vintage, was perfectly well equipped. Food was plentiful and easy if not quite spectacular.

Sometimes it seemed like lines were too long or there wasn't enough room for things like dining, etc. Honestly, for the price point, I thought this was expected and totally fine, though some of my friends had higher expectations.

I loved the staff at the hotel. It was extremely kind, helpful, and entertaining. The staff at the reception was especially helpful (Charlie). The waiting staff at the beach grill was amazing where I had all my meals, even though the staff at other restaurants at the resort was also very kind and helpful. The beach was superb with turquoise waters, fine white sand, and kayaking, snorkeling, and paddle boarding available for free to guests. The food was a bit bland to my taste considering that it was in the Caribbean (would have preferred a bit spicy options) but perhaps they were catering more to Dutch tourists. The entertainment team was amazing, the energy of the young people that they put in to entertain guests is just great.

I stayed in the Royal Tower on the east side of the resort in the room that was facing Mambo beach. The room was very noisy especially on Sundays and Wednesdays until 3 AM when there are huge parties on Cabana and Mambo beach. If you stay in a room that faces Mambo beach, be ready to stay awake until 3 AM. Ask for a room that does not face Mambo beach if you want to sleep at night. Unfortunately, the hotel did not fulfill my ask to stay in a quiet room, so this is the only negative.

The facilities and the staff. The beach was amazing and the pool as well. Everybody was really friendly and worried about us.

When we arrived the front desk was really confused and they didn't know what to do, as we requested some flowers and champagne because it was out honeymoon they didn't accomplish with this.

This is the best hotel I have ever been with the most incredible staff, comfortable clean lovely rooms and the most beautiful beach. When we arrived after a long journey the staff at the Sunclub desk was super friendly, funny and helpful. My wish for a room with terrace (we had booked an Ocean Front room at the Plover building) was no problem and a few minutes later we could move into our lovely room with two queen size beds that made my 15 year old daughter very happy as she usually has to sleep on a sofa or a very small bed when we're on holiday. Room was exactly as in the pictures, with a rain shower and it was cleaned and provided with fresh towels every day and best of all: open the terrasse door and you're at the beach. I loved it so much! Everything's close, the beach and the pool so I could watch my kids in the pool while I was swimming in the ocean. The pool bar with also super friendly staff and the most delicious cocktails. Cocktail selection incredible. The beach...wow. White sand and the caribbean turquoise water like I always imagined it. There are wave breakers so the sea at the private beach is always calm. On the wave breakers are beautiful coral reefs, perfect for snorkeling. I swam with swarms of blue tangs, two eyed butterfly fishes, one day I even saw a small lion fish. When you walk around on the resort there's always someone cleaning, removing leafs from the beach, scrubbing pool tiles and you never pass a staff member without getting a smile and a hello. Covid precautions are strictly provided without making the guests feel uncomfortable. Every day another restaurant is open and we liked the food very much. At the Sunscape you get excellent meals but if you need breathtaking gourmet cuisine, choose another hotel. If you like good food served by wonderful staff that's what you get here. On my birthday we were surprised with a bottle of champagne in the room. And the entertainment. It was simply great!

Everything was amazing! I still dont understand the people who complained a lot in other comments. The food was delicious, all staff was so kind and patient with us. We had all food and drinks that we want. The hotel offers crafts and safe tours!! We enjoyed the island and also the hotel. Thanks! I really recommended. The staffs speaks english and spanish and smile all the time. The asian food was good and thr italian was delicious.
