The hotel is very well located in Zagreb center and yet in the middle of the woods (a park) which will give you peace of mind and at the same time you're very close to the center that you can reach either walking or driving. The rooms are spacious compared to other hotels, with big windows. I really liked the very classic details of the hotel (heavy old keys, paintings, furniture..etc). The building is from inside is very classic, yet from outside is modern😍. The car parking is available and free. The breakfast finishes at 11 a.m., which is very convenient if you are on vacation and you wanna wake up late. Even during the last day, the waiter waited for us even more, and he was very kind and welcoming. The food was really good. The staff ( reception and restaurant) are really kind, friendly and helpful.

There are few points to be taken into consideration, especially since it is ((a 4-star hotel)) 1. There was no kettle in the room. When we asked, they were very kind to bring a hot water for the baby, but kettle is really important to be in the room. 2. I asked for an ironing machine. Unfortunately, they don't have one !!! and even no laundry service in the hotel! I was really embarrassed as I had a flight the next day, and even the town laundries were closed on Sunday 😅 3. The room was very warm as AC was not On yet in April. I know it was cold outside but the room itself was really warm from inside. I had to open the windows and wake up early in the morning by the cars and the birds noise 😅💔. Anyway I really recommend to stay here

This is a lovely, quiet hotel and our room was beautiful & very comfortable. Breakfast wasn’t as full of variety as some other hotels we’ve stayed at but it was still ok and the coffee (Americanos) was great. Staff very friendly & helpful. Beautiful woods nearby.

The walls of the rooms are very thin & we could hear EVERYTHING happening in the adjoining room, even when a light switch was turned on and off. The hotel is a bit more isolated than what we thought and although we did walk back from town one afternoon it was much easier to Uber or taxi. If we were to visit Zagreb again we’d probably stay closer to the centre of town. This is excellent for those wanting that peaceful country vibe though.

I only stayed one night as I was going to fly out the next day. I tried to find a place close to the airport, but when I read the reviews of other places there were some reviews I didn’t like and this one was reviewed well. It was old world charm - these big heavy keys. The room was very large and clean. The hotel staff was very professional and responsive. The restaurant was charming and I think we ate off china. The one meal I had was a little bland for my taste buds, but good enough to eat.

The hotel is in a location close to the center and in a very airy area among the trees. The rooms are very large and classically furnished. There is no plastic key, you open your door with the old nostalgic hotel key. It is possible to reach the tram stop with a 10-minute walk and reach the liveliest area with 2 stops.

The exterior of the hotel is completely covered with glass and this image contrasts with the interior flooring, but this does not mean that I do not like the hotel.

The hotel is fantastic, clean, modern, spacious (we had 2 bathrooms and a living room!) - well equipped and in a very quiet location close to the woods. Perfect for rest. Breakfast was delicious and with lot of options. The staff are 10+. We booked it for one night in our roadtrip through Europe - and I’m sad we couldn’t stay here longer. The hotel is far from downtown (30 min walk) but there’s a bus station right in front of it or you can Uber for very low fees (2-3€).

I have been the hotel business since 1976 and this hotel made me love it. It was likely built in the 70s with true passion. The furniture is exquisite, the tiles work exceptional. I even loved the door hardware. The staff wear ties at the Front Desk and the servers wear black and white. Very retro, very comfortable. Not dark and heavy but light and golden. Dated? Sure but perfect.

It is a bit of a hike to town but it is through a beautiful park and I Uberd back . Perfect.

super peaceful place, near the city center, but it’s quite there because of the woods. You wake up, open the window and listen to the birds singing. Amazing tasty breakfast with croissants and cappuccino. I absolutely love the interior - classic. The receptionist was super helpful and nice guy, when we had a car problems and he translated for us some words and searched for some car service numbers. I totally recommend this place and for sure will come back.

This is a nice hotel overall. The geographical location was perfect because downtown it was really hot, however since the hotel is next to a big park, we had a lot of fresh air. The room was very spacious and the breakfast was quite varied. Free parking on the premises was definitely a plus and this was very important for us. The staff is very helpful.

The equipment in the hotel is a bit outdated although still functional, for example the hairdryer. The bed is not exactly very comfortable but not tragic either. Maybe a good makeover of this hotel could elevate it to a bit of a higher standard.

The location is absolutely breathtaking, felt like in a fairy tale (surrounded by woods and birds singing in the morning). The vibe of the entire hotel is also fairytale like - with vintage design. Room was quite large, it has everything we needed: comfortable bed, TV, mini fridge, storage, etc. The staff was also helpful and polite.

Breakfast poor in choices - that might be subjective though.
