Prima Luce Downtown - MAG Quaint & Elegant Boutique Hotels

The room is very beautiful and large. The placement of the hotel is bizarre. It is downtown - DOWNTOWN… so no parking, and security system code for the door. If you come for the first time it will be impossible without assistance. BUT… the room is perfect and the place where the hotel is situated is PERFECT… so, NO free parking arround but payed ones are available. It was a very good night in the hotel, the little problem was to get in first, but we figure it out. The mats are exceptional !!!

Booking charged my credit card, but the hotel charged too my credit card. So I’m waiting a refund from booking. The hotel was payed.

Room and bathroom were huge. Wifi was excellent. Location of the hotel is close to everything. Lots of restaurants and shops close by. This is probably the best thing that I love about the hotel. The hotel itself is found on the third floor of a mall. Staff was also friendly and helpful.

The only way to get to the hotel is through the elevators as the stairs were cordoned off. Not sure if this is only because of the pandemic. When the mall closes, you need to take the backdoor elevator which isn't really a bad thing.

Strong points : Large suite with a huge jacuzzi. Ideal location. Very comfortable bed Very clean. A special thank to Dora who did very consciously my checking in and who organized for me 2 great excursions. An other special thank to Anastasia who has been really helpful in some matters. A last thank to Igor who has been helpful too.

Weak point : There are many members at the reception team and they always change... Two of them were particularly unpleasant...

Location - the hotel is close to the old town and Riva (venue). I don't know when the hotel was opened, but it gives very clean and new or renovated vibes. There is an elevator in the building. Beds are very comfy, everything was clean. Everyone was very friendly.

The "view" from the windows: both from a room and a bathroom. It's painful to see. My windows were facing a backyard of a restaurant or a cafe. So when you open the curtains and window, you see the kitchen hoods and see all the rubbish this restaurant takes outside. The smell and sounds... It's not an issue if not to open windows (they're double glazed) and curtains at all.

It was perfect stay, the room was very cozy and comfortable. The floor was made from carpet what makes it really pleasant. The place is recommendable for the couple who want to party and enjoy the night life of Split - the location of apartment is terrific!

The fridge was not working, the minibar in the room is only wine which costs 90kuna extra and there is no parking places as it is placed in the shopping mall. Nevertheless it was the best apartment in which we have stayed during our trip in Croatia :)

Possibly one of the most comfortable hotel stays I’ve had. Room was at the right temperature, two massive beds, all the amenities provided, kettle with coffee, hot shower. Perfect perfect place! Also bang in the old town centre meters away from the Old Town entrance + Riva Promenade

Location great. Rooms had a good view and were comfortable. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Amenities were fine.

The sheets were not cotton and attracted static and were slippery. We would have preferred cotton sheets. We had a problem with a smell from the toilet in our room on the first night but were given another room whilst they sorted the problem.

Location is best two minutes walk from the old town. Clean. Staff very responsive (i must mention the help i have got from Miss Luciana). Large room.

There is no breaskfast served in the hotel. I think you have to take it in another hotel connected somehow to this one.

room is on the third floor of an old department store (which looks to be in process of closing down). all a bit weird. cafe on floor above has closed. after 9 you basically scan into a closed shop and get a lift up to your room…

The room and bathroom were large and comfortable. We liked the large shower and the king size bed. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They, like many Croatians, like to kid around so it was always a pleasure to interact with them. The hotel is adjacent to Old Town with a taxi stand right across the street.
