Hotel Cvita

All interactions with staff were pleasant. I was really only in my room to sleep. The bed was comfortable and room size was large. I did not get a sea view and was fine with that. Large tub in the bathroom. Breakfast each morning was delicious.

Hotel is located 1 mile from the Riva. It’s 22 minutes to walk or 19 minutes to drive. Walking into town was fine but coming back to the hotel is all up hill at a huge incline. When I arrived in my room all the windows were open which allowed some bugs to come into my room. One was a mosquito that then bit my face while I was sleeping. The room was not quite at all. If a neighbor came or went you could hear their door, you could hear them shower and hear them cough and flush the toilet.

The receptionist on arrival was excellent, so helpful, I think his name was Ante. Our room had a fantastic view of Split and the bay, the room was very nice and breakfast the next morning was also very nice. We were on the 5th floor, there is a lift to the 4th floor only but we were asked if that was ok which it was.

The hotel is a bit of a walk from Split but Ubers are plentiful and cheap if you dont fancy the walk.

The atmosphere. It was calm, relaxing and quiet. The whole experience was luxurious. The bathroom was gorgeous as well.

There was some lovely jam pastries on the first day for breakfast, which I didn’t see again for the rest of the holiday. They were very yummy!

Staff were super helpful. Lovely pool area. Breakfast was really lovely with a wide variety of food. The room we stayed in was on the 4th floor overlooking the sea and it was absolutely stunning with a gorgeous balcony. Only a short walk to the beach.

Nothing - it was fantastic!

A pretty and clean hotel on the top of the small hill. My favourite was the pool area. I also liked the breakfast: not the biggest selection, but the quality of products was good which I appreciate. I had a bath in my room and that was a nice surprise too. The stuff was helpful and overall the experience was really good.

I thought I had booked a room with a balcony, but I didn't have one. Could have been my misunderstanding. There weren't any restaurants or grocery stores near the hotel because the hotel is located kind of middle of the normal apartments. For me that was okay, but if you don't like to walk or take a taxi, it may be good to be aware of this.

Staff was extremely polite, and very helpful. The tub was nice, and the balcony (minus furniture-dragging) was a real treat. The pool area was quite nice, and I had a lovely massage with only a day's notice. Beds were good size, and rooms were also decently-sized.

The breakfast could have been a little heartier...wider selection of fruits and veggies. Omelettes would be a nice touch, as well as sparkling water. Bathroom was decently-sized, but with a permanent shower shield, tough to get in and out (and awkward shower head placement). Put signs up to ask people not to drag furniture...view was amazing, but noisy sitting outside listening to other travelers drag furniture up and down the balconies. A shuttle in and out of town would have been nice, especially at night (taxis very expensive, and Uber hard to find a pick-up zone). Mattress toppers for mattresses would also be a good idea.

Lovely clean hotel, friendly helpful staff. Hotel room good size with a balcony with a sea view on 2nd floor. Breakfast was buffet style, plenty of choice. With lovely bread. Pool area is a lovely courtyard, pool isn't huge but great for relaxing around.

Hotel is set in a residential area a good 20 min walk mainly uphill out of the centre of Split so unless your fairly fit you would need to get a taxi etc. Not a particularly great view either. Immediate view from the front of hotel isn't great, if your on the 2nd floor & above you do get a sea view beyond though. Toaster would be good so you could toast some of the lovely bread.

The room was excellent and the view from our balcony at the front of the hotel was stunning. The spa, gym and pool are excellent and very clean. The staff are very friendly and so helpful. We didn't see any evidence of guests putting towels on beds and then disappearing for hours. Very quiet at night.

It's quite a long walk in to town but we always felt very safe. Certainly no need to get a taxi.
