Park Plaza Belvedere Medulin

the stay exceeded my expectations, a nice big hotel, services at a high level. the food was fantastic, you can choose from a large number of dishes, the staff is pleasant and smiling… the restaurant on the beach is excellent. rooms are cleaned every day, towels are changed every day… we had a fantastic time, so my wife and I extended our stay. The price for extending the stay corresponds to the level of accommodation and services.. excellent fitness and SPA, especially the indoor pool for swimmers…. really high level, we felt great, we rested and we will definitely come back

unfortunately people reserve a place by the pool with towels from the morning, but that's about the people and not the hotel…. but we prefer to go to the sea and not to the pools 😃 maybe I would change the beds, because the double bed was not a double bed, but two single beds together, the mattress is insufficient and I slept in such a hole every day, but it was not a big problem ….

Upon arrival we were welcomed by the amazing staff at the reception. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Mattress and pillows were super, very comfortable. Breakfast had variety of options, definitely something for everyone. Spa and pool area were very clean and the staff there was amazing too. We booked a massage for two and they were very professional. 10/10 would recommend this hotel. We will be back!

We can only write as superlative about Park Plaza Belvedere Medulin. + The hotel is located incredibly close to the beach with an amazing pool area. + The spa area is also amazing and excellent for relaxing in its big sauna or heated pool filled with sea water. + Gym facility is also great and included in price. + Half-board option is highly recommended. Dishes were delicious and variety changed every evening. + Breakfast had a huge variety and dishes were delicious. + Rooms are clean and spacious. Definitely recommended to book one with sea view. It worth the extra charge. + Parking fee is included in the price which is quite unusual and there is a big, guarded parking area in front of the hotel. + Money exchange service at reception was a big positive surprise. We could change Kuna on a better price like at home in any exchange office.

To be honest there were nothing negative to mention here, these are only some small remarks. We will definitely return next year :) * Charge for sunbed & umbrella at own beachfront is quite overpriced - but if you walk 100 meters away you can find better options for third of the price. * It would be nice to have at least some tap water placed on tables at dinner rather than forcing guest to buy the mineral water in bottle. I understand the economical value add behind but it would be a nice gesture at least to have this option available.

Everything! The staff (especially Tamara at the front desk and Sandra at the lobby cafe and bar) were fantastic as always, and they did everything they could to make our stay wonderful! The property was nice last year, with a few shaggy areas, all of which were improved by the time of our visit this year. We (my wife, our 6-year-old son, and I) thoroughly enjoyed our visit (despite the rough crowd this year), we are grateful for the 5-star staff and management, and we plan to make the Park Plaza Belvedere Medulin an annual summer tradition!

The average guest profile/demographic was a bit rougher this year than we saw last year, especially the first week of our two-week stay: lots of less educated guests, with tattoos covering large portions of their bodies; lots of smokers; lots of shaggy- bearded people; lots of grossly overweight people walking through the lobby with no shirts (the men) and in thongs (the obese women) … it was pretty gross, and caused us to discuss never returning. Thank goodness the crowd returned to somewhat normal our second week, so we will most likely return next year :-)

Staff were wonderful! Pool bar, room cleaning ladies, serving staff in the restaurant, all friendly and very helpful! Duty manager's response to complaint about a poor quality dinner in the restaurant was excellent! Very well handled!

Sunbeds being reserved at 6am or earlier was a huge problem and although they said it was 'policed' and towels removed after an hour, it was not. More tables and choice on menu at Lungomare restaurant would be good although we enjoyed the food there. More information on excursions to Pula,Rovinj and surrounding areas by reception staff would be helpful. Room bill layout needs improving. Very confusing as not clear on dates and what was consumed.

Fantastic location by the sea with gorgeous views all around. Particularly good when having breakfast on the balcony. Great pools, fantastic Spa and great buffet selections. Our superior room with balcony with sea view was very spacious and we loved being located by the garden where it was quieter and closer to get to our sun loungers. The other superior room that our children had was spacious but the balcony wasn’t as great. it was smaller and the view wasn’t great due to the side wall. Staff were very efficient and room were cleaned very well every day.

Even though the hotel was refurbished 10yrs ago some areas need a bit of attention. Not enough sun loungers and people were putting towels to reserve them at 6am! We thought it was disappointing having to pay (a good 200kn a day!) for sun loungers and parasol when staying at this hotel. It should be free or half price for guests. Need to improve the food labels as it was very difficult to find “Vegetarian” or even “vegan” food. Often what looked vegetarian actually had meat or fish in it. More choices for hot food for non-meat eaters would be welcome.

Was much more than I had anticipated. The staff was fantastic and the pool was so nice. Indoor and outdoor. Once you check out if you don’t leave right away you’re still welcome to use all of the facilities which was great for us. They have showers in the locker rooms by the indoor pool.

Everything was great. I only rated an 8 bc they accidentally charged my card twice. However, they informed me right away and refunded the second charge. Was super nice and apologetic about it..

Nice place, very clean, friendly staff and the most comfortable bed. Great breakfast choices.

Bathroom door didn't close, they Just slide back wide open. Also the windows aren't air tight, you could hear everything as they were open, really bad. Luckuly the room was warm,otherwise this would make it colder.

The hotel facilities and pools are perfect, worth to visit only for this. Big, clean, never too crowded. Possibility to charge your electric vehicle for free. Amazing view from the balcony of the restaurant and the staff was helpful and polite. Breakfast was very very good. Tons of variety. Coffee could be better, but that's being really picky on this.

Rooms carpet seems to be a bit old and has some stains. Also a bit noisy fan on the bathroom when light was on. Other than that, great.

1) Overall, a very friendly and helpful staff (with only a handful of exceptions); 2) location and views; 3) Modern lobby, hallways, and rooms; 4) Excellent (but overpriced) breakfast and dinner buffets; 5) COVID PCR and Antigen testing on site.

1. Housekeeping was a bit lax (toilets not cleaned well, beds sloppily made, etc.); 2) food at the pool restaurant was pretty bad, unless you only want french fries or pizza; 3) rooms on the second floor were dark and moldy ( but they immediately moved us to a better, much nicer room when I informed them of the problem); 4) a handful of staff members were not very friendly, never smiled, etc (especially some of the buffet waiters and waitresses); the grounds (grassy areas) are a bit shabby and rough looking … needs better lawn care and watering, lots of ants, shabby mini-golf course.
