AC Hotel by Marriott Heredia Belen

Airport shuttle was waiting when we arrived and the driver was really friendly and knowledgeable. We only stayed one night as our flight had been delayed and we had to book in SJO last minute. We were looking for something convenient and comfortable and it met those requirements perfectly. There are food trucks and a supermarket and pharmacy outside as well as a nice restaurant in the hotel itself. We used the gym which was clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The pool was outdoors so we assumed it would be heated as we visited in what is classed as "winter" in SJO and it was actually v cold so we couldn't use it.

Probably one of the most wonderful hotel experiences I have ever had. Beautiful architecture and decor, mountain views, and excellent service from the staff. Everything was over the top. They offer an incredible breakfast spread (with many, many juices). Pool/bar area is very luxurious. Adjacent to several shops, a spa, grocery, food truck court (very nice, with a large, collaborative patio area, and restaurants. Also very close to the San Jose airport. We will return to this magnificent hotel again!

A microwave would have been nice in the room but everything else about this hotel was absolutely outstanding!

Great, modern hotel close to the airport. The room was comfy, clean and with everything you need. Very convenient shuttle to go to the airport in the morning - took us 15 min. Restaurant and food truck court in front of the hotel making it very easy to chose a dinner option.

30$ per person for breakfast? are you being serious? In Costa Rica? We didn't take it because we were heading to the airport early in the morning but it seems a very high price in comparison to everywhere else we've been to during our 2 weeks trip in Costa Rica.

The hotel is modern and relatively new. Very close to SJO Airport. Beautiful view and pool on the 4th floor. Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff.

The were some traces that the room was not properly cleaned. E.g., there were dirt particles on the one-seat sofa. There was hair in the shower, the pillowcases were twisted which showed that they were not ironed. I would have expected more value for the high price we paid. Our room was stuffy because there was no window to open and just a wall view

This hotel has recently opened so it is very modern and everything is clean and nice. Very comfy beds. Swimming pool on the roof and roof terrace bar very nice too. Great location right next to few shops, Starbucks coffee shop, food trucks courtyard, little kids playground, small supermarket, pharmacy...... Not far from the airport, brand new shuttle bus with really nice and helpful driver took us to the airport in no time. Beware of the traffic jams at peak hours though.

The hotel was exceptionally clean and one had everything one needed to prepare ones own food if one wanted in a well organized kitchen. The service was friendly and efficient. Truly a place one can settle in feel at home, comfortable and organize oneself while on the road. the location was superb, away from the crowds with a great road to access he property, yet close enough to get where you need. the views were remarkable a wonderful sunset.

I called many times to find out what time the shuttles were from the airport with no one answering. There was nothing online I could find and nothing at the airport pick up with a time schedule, we waited for some time then got a taxi. everything was closed but the roof top deck - it was super cold and no outside heaters or blankets there and no food after 11.

We stayed here the night before an early flight, and it's perfect for that. The rooms are business-y but very comfortable, and there are food trucks in the parking lot and a convenience store next door if you need a snack. Friendly staff.

Airport shuttle only runs once an hour, so we ended up spending a bit more time at the airport than we might have preferred, but that's a minor concern

Superb location. Attractive facilities, new. Spacious rooms and bathroom. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was good. Food truck options in the immediate precinct just outside hotel are a special bonus. Would recommend without hesitation for a hotel close to the airport / overnight stay.

The free shuttle only arrives every two hours. About $20 for taxi to the hotel.

The staff was super friendly! Breakfast was exceptional. Really well located and the free shuttle service was a plus, would stay again. The woman in charge of the kitchen was a saint, she made me a special tea from fresh herbs in the garden, it was such a nice exchange the morning I left, really grateful for the friendly staff.
