Novelty Suites Hotel

We love the Hotel excellent service WE rated it the best hotel.

Only 1 complained is that my grandson is 3 years He is severe asthmatic and cannot be having breakfast with crowded guest so we preferred to bring him 2 small sizes of watermelon and 1 piece of bread and 1 boiled egg. But the manager on duty a gentleman said is not allowed to bring it to the room where he stayed with his father. So when we finish breakfast we took him to the oviedo mall to get a little breakfast. We were 3 adults and 1 child but for the rest the service was excellent. And please reconsider that desicion about a minor.

Outstanding and professional staff. The beds were extremely comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Location was perfect.

I stayed in a "Deluxe Suite" and it was considerably smaller than what I expected. I am willing to challenge their 500 square feet measurement claim. It was clearly smaller than that. That was the ONLY reason why I didn't extend my reservation. Breakfast ends at 10:30 AM but workers start taking things down 30 minutes before breakfast time ends. I had to make sure I was there no later than 9:30 AM to be able to have all of the breakfast food choices.

As always in Medellin, we were welcomed by kind staff. Always helping and willing to! SERVICE is the best in Medellin! We stayed for 2 weeks, because we also had some medicals to do, so we wanted some peace and quiet. We asked for a room on the other side of the hotel. Camillo right a away helped us with that, explaining the possibilties. So so kind of him! Breakfast was as always generous. We love the rooms in Novelty suites, its roomy and you even have a separate space for clothes. (mini walkin closet) And its always sooo clean in that hotel! The loaction is THE BEST, right next to Oviedo mall and 5min walk to Santa fe mall and other restaurants. The paisa people are amazing! Warm, kind and friendly! We love to be there!

I could not have carbs and sugar, so for people with a special diet the options are limited at breakfast. And I never understood but they never give you towels for the kitchen ;) We always buy our own. Or you can ask. Other then that, they are complete!

we recently stayed at the novelty suites Hotel and was impressed by the stunning property. From the moment we arrived, we was struck by the beautiful architecture and meticulous landscaping. The hotel grounds were expansive and well-maintained, with lush gardens and walkways that were perfect for a leisurely stroll. Inside the hotel, the attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the design. The lobby was grand and inviting, with comfortable seating areas and beautiful artwork on display. The rooms were equally impressive, with high-quality furnishings and luxurious bedding that made for a comfortable and restful stay. One thing that stood out to me about this property was the range of amenities available to guests. In addition, there was a spa, fitness center, and several restaurants and bars on-site. I also appreciated the convenience of the hotel's location, which was close to many popular attractions and activities.

The suite was absolutely wonderful. We had lovely views of the city and mountains surrounding it. It was very large and had more room than we needed! It was nice to have a sofa, and table and chairs for extra sitting room. It was close to the Oviedo Mall, and a good Italian restaurant, the Della Nonna Milla de Oro Trattoria where there was a particularly good and attentive waiter, Guillermo. The food in the hotel restaurant was excellent too, especially the buffet breakfasts. They were always delicious, with many tasty hot and cold dishes. Breakfast became our favourite meal of the day.

Most of the front desk staff did not speak English. Sometimes there was one person on duty who spoke some English.

Breakfast was great; great variety in offerings, the facilities are very clean, neat and well maintained and great and especially personnel is well trained and very customer oriented.

Getting to the hotel in car or taxi during certain hours is not great. There is much congestion in front of the hotel making it sometimes difficult to access. At times we used the affinity entrance to reach the hotel to avoid traffic. Getting taxi's/cars from the hotel is difficult to get transportation in timely fashion. Going out on the street and randomly picking a taxi was faster.

The breakfast buffet was delicious, and every day I was delighted. The front desk employees are amazing and also the gate guards, so Nice!!! The room was so comfy AND THE AC was everything, cold, quiet!! We had 2 beds and the pullout for my son was so comfy Its a great place because you have access to everything. My biggest surprise was not to find all the American tourists every night with "female companions" , that really made our stay comfortable and pleasant. I travel with kids and there's always a heavy vibe in other places. NOT HERE!

The roof top bar could have a bit more action during the AM hours like in the morning to hist a meeting or a breakfast with a view

The bathroom, the bed, the sofa, the small kitchen and the utensils, all clean and well maintained. Nice and comfortable bed. Nice and helpful cleaning ladies. The cleaning was impeccable; from the hygiene of the kitchen, to the bathroom, from the sheets to the towels, everything clean and tidy. The breakfast is quite complete; both Europeans and Americans can enjoy much of their gastronomic habits.

Some administrative problems in the management of extras erroneously charged; from our consumption a credit came out in our favor due to a pre-paid and erroneously charged dinner. Incredible that the amount cannot be returned, either on the credit card or in cash. The credit is active for any other holidays.

Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. Always asked me if I needed help or a ride somewhere. Breakfast was my favorite ive had in all the hotels I stayed across different cities in Colombia. They had a mix of everything and always very attentive with plates Loved the layout of the kitchen/sitting room with the bedroom(also walk in closet !). The kitchen had everything i would have needed. This also helped kep the room nice and quiet. Area is in Poblado but without the crazy traffic of the center. Walking distance to a nice mall. Area around is very nice, felt comfortable walking around at night alone. This will definitely be my new favorite spot in Medellín.

Maybe a better shower head but aside from that everything else was perfect.

Didn't get a chance to enjoy the breakfast but Peaked my head in the door and it looked very appetizing. A hotel reception people were generally attentive and anxious and eager to handle my bags and give me instructions even in English which was good cuz I'm not a native

Kind of disappointed did they didn't have an outdoor area to congregate and a pool. Very disappointed and even went through the extra step of verifying one week before my vacation that they're 15th floor bar and lounge was open for business. Only to find out that they were closed for renovation yet again. I read some other reviews that said previously people had also found that it was closed for renovation. Need to offer more amenities for that price point. Also early morning construction on the 15th floor I assume. As I was on the 13th floor it was still pretty evident. Very small porch but definitely room for a couple of chairs that were not included as I stayed in a suite
