Metropolo Classiq Dahua Hotel Shanghai Jingan

This has been a favourite of mine ever since I discovered this gem. I love the modern decor, room comfort, facilities and not to mention the very convenient Japanese washing toilet seat. I returned to Shanghai after 3.5 years(thanks for Covid19) and I was so pleased to find that Metropolo only got better, thankfully. I would like to mention how courteous and generous the staff were this time. Esp this lady and this gentlemen(unfortunately I can't remember the names) who were on duty on 24-25 of June. It is a perfect location, close to everything yet have this calmness and charm. Definitely i will be coming to back to my favourite place to relax in Shanghai.

to be honest it is hard to find any flaws. Air conditioning needs to be adjusted but that's not a major issue, overall it was working fine.

room size is great for a 3 people family room, but the pullout sofa bed could be better with a soft move-in mattress on top of a sofa bed for free. location is good not far away from jin an temple.

if sofa bed provided with a free soft mattress for the real 3 people room, otherwise, is still a 2 people family room.

In Shanghai, it's a small but very and nice place. Super clean, very well maintained character hotel, build in 1936. Price was totslly fine, breakfast very well, employees definitely caring. I liked it a lot and absolutely recommend.

At this price, one can't expect anything more then given here.

cleanliness, location, friendly staff, very good price quality ratio. Large and comfy rooms. close to subway, bus and restaurants.

Far away from the train station The bedroom was a little outdated and some areas FX the walls were a little dirty

Room is big and well designed , large bathroom and sleek look , like the design , staffs are friendly. Internet is fast. Restaurant is nearby

The metro station is about 15 to 20 mins walk distance and a little far away

The staff is professional and very friendly. I asked many questions and they were very supportive.

internet did not work the first night but later it was ok. I did not complain or report it.

The room was very spacious and clean. Bedding was comfortable. It is near to the high speed rail station.
