Campanile Shanghai Jing An

Location is great. next to Jing'An temple. there are cafes, restaurant and all sorts of shops around. The subway station is quite close which connect you to the rest of the city.

Location was decent, Jing'an temple and Frech Concession both around the corner. Room was a good size and bed was super comfy. Staff were friendly and helpful. Laundry machines were simple to use.

Could have been cleaner, particularly the walls of the bathroom. Had obviously never been cleaned so looked unhygienic. Hotel needs a repaint. Cleaners had a tendency to dispose of some things that weren't even in a bin, so I lost a pannetone and a takeaway :(. Hotel didn't respond when I asked in advance for the Chinese address for the taxi. Hotel is called Kangbo hotel in Chinese, which is what's needed for Didi

Breakfast is a highlight, they have amazing assorted bread, cheese and jams, in addition to several options, as there’s a restaurant working in the hotel, the restaurante is really good and fair priced by the way. They provide free bottled water too. Great location near Jing An Temple station.

I second some comments about the smoke smell getting to the rooms. I did notice it one time that I stayed in, at about 9-10 am, the smell was so strong it was as if someone was smoking inside the room, and my room was in the 5th floor! I’m not sure if the staff is smoking or what but it was intense.

The room turned out to be bigger than expected, very spacious, and the bathroom/ toilet area is also really big, makes it really comfortable to just stay in the room and chill. The bed is upper comfortable, got different pillows that you could adjust to your liking, a decent work desk and this sitting area. Overall cleanliness is great, staff very attentive and friendly. Most importers, great value for money. I highly recommend this hotel.

This might be due personal preference but I don’t like the smell coming into the lobby. That’s the only think I dislike and it’s not quite the hotel’s fault or anything

Location is excellent, it is in JinAnn very good location, walking distance to many good restaurants for breakfast, lunch or dinner, very near train station too. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the hotel area and room are clean

There was a day the lobby was full of smoke like haze, with some heavy smokers there, not sure why the hotel allowed smoking in the lobby which is also the resting and dinning area, that was very unpleasant experience

Breakfast is just ok, not expensive and good for those in rush in the morning. Location is great, walking distance to Metro. Closed to shopping malls in Jing'an area and walking distance to Jing'an temple. Overall like the room, modern and cosy, no carpets like other Chinese styled hotel. Recommended!

More breakfast variety. Non-smoking floor is not fully restricted. Need to enforce this better. Check-in process is too long, an hour for our group of 10.

Everything was exceptional great location Subway was close great local bars and restaurants to eat

I think an upgrade on the hot box situation is in order The food was lukewarm though a good selection and variety was abundant but the food was cold by the time you sat down apart from that a great hotel Buy è local beer Imported beer was bland and flat don't buy keg beer same flat ?

the interior, style of lobby and set up. breakfast area and breakfast looked really great I had it included but had to check out early so didn’t get to have it. great check in lobby area, rooms are cute well decorated, great hardwares in rooms thoughtful little features, auto motion night light for those night time bathroom runs👍🏻👍🏻

carpet hallway difficult to roll luggages

The location was good close to no 2 line metro exit about 5-8 min walking distance. Breakfast was super good, lots of varieties, western and local , fresh fruits . Staff are helpful. Self service laundry is a plus .

The room is very small and wall has stains on it , needs a painting or cleaning wipe. Smell in the lobby and hallway was not pleasant.

room was small but had just about everything you can ask for, found it a bit weird that mattress there was no bedrame, but i guess they built a raised platfrom to hide all the cabling

not much , everything was pretty decent, it's definitely a hotel for good value to visit the area, not intended to stay , oh i think the showerdoor was bit high so water got splashed out a lot
