Le Chabrol Hotel & Suites

Convenient location, close to all MTL attractions. Rooms are very good, beds are amazing and got a great one night stay here. Highly recommend for someone visiting the city for a few days even with their families.

Rooms look a tad dated and can use a makeover however there is nothing that can be qualified as a deal breaker. I may be expecting a bit much after my previous stays but I was very happy with the overall aesthetic of the room, beds , overall cleanliness, linen, toileteries. The whole package! Breakfast was probably the only dissapointing item here. It only offered bare minimum like bagels, coffee etc. Could get slightly better in terms of offering but isn't something worth changing your mind over as you're in the culinary city of MTL so dont be harping over hotel food.

We didn't get one of the rooms they highlight, but a standard room instead. It was quite good, standard motel room to spend the night. No issues with the room itself. The staff was nice and friendly.

Our room was located in the non-smoking zone, but to get to it we had to pass one of the corridors that appear to be in the smoking area or something like that. And it stinks. We tried to hold our breaths until we reached the non-smoking corridor, which smelled nice and clean. The staircase was smelly as well, so good that we only had to go up to 2nd floor. I have no idea how two parts of the same property can be that different, but they are.

The beds and pillows are so soft! Slept like a baby every night. Stayed for 4 nights and it was great! I like that we were close to the bus station and a grocery store. Easy to get around and run errands for a long stay. Pubs and diners were close by as well. Not hard at all to get around

The AC could have been cooler and I wish it didn’t turn off in the middle of the night. There’s nowhere for us to control the fan or the temperature of the AC. Just a simple on and off switch. Space between toilet and sink could be a little wider as well. I keep bumping into the sink.

Updated suites, staff were attentive and went above and beyond with customer service. Accessibility to public transportation, grocery stores, free parking, wifi. Nice breakfast served, not posted online because it’s just a nice snack for the morning and also complimentary.

The suites were not sound proof. We could hear other rooms in the hallways. The deluxe suite was not updated and felt grimmy. Also next to reception desk on the main floor. This room is the “luxurious suite”. We requested to switch rooms and staff at the hotel were accommodating and helped us. Grateful to switch as we were staying for 5 days.

welcoming and friendly staff. good location. a bus stop and grocery store are nearby. I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast. although small, it was written that breakfast is not included

the bathroom is a little too small. there is not much time to put on a towel while bathing. everything looks a little old in the bathroom. but it does not prevent you from sleeping in the room if you have been walking around the city all day. and if you came for a couple of days.

The property was great! There was places for food near by and easy to get to places from! The place was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. The shower and bathroom was awesome! loved the mirror wall in the room and enjoyed the flat screen tv!

I could hear someone talking loud/ laughing at three am one of the nights! I believe a staff came and took care of the situation though.

I realized that there is a big strippers club in front when I came back at night so I understood some comments about customers coming to the hotels. But honnestly, it makes no difference and I would go back any time. Old hotel, but room was great for the price. Very clean. Bed too soft for my taste but otherwise everything is fine. I will go back and recommend it. Location is great if you don’t need to go in the north of the city.

We were allowed to check in earlier than scheduled time.

Dusty in the room. Even the hairdryer was in the dust and lint. The roller of the shower door/panel needs a repair. It was sliding out of the rail. May cause an injury. Coffee machine in the breakfast room wasn't working.

Comfortable beds and spacious room and clean. Coffee makers, iron and microwave inside room is great!

During the booking process my selection was for four occupants but ended up have a room with two queen beds for two adults. The given information during booking was not same as the confirmation and had to pay extra fees for another two. Not happy with misleading booking system.

Clean and spacious room. Friendly staff. Lots of parking spaces.

Breakfast is still in a bag due to COVID. The deposit is not just a credit card blockage: you pay for it and in the end, they refund the card. So be prepared to wait more days to have this money back to your card.
