Shine Motel

When I do the réservation for the room, I know we have a kitchenette in the room but nothing mention refregerator with a small congelator. It make a difference in our trip. The room was renovated and it was a nice surprise. It was better then the picture on the site. The personal was friendly, adaptative and open to help us. The bed was noisy but very comfortable:) I asked for a supplementary bed for my kid when I do my reservation and he find it very confortable and habitualy if it not his own bed it not confortable for him :)

The noise the bed make when we sleeping (moving) It's awake a people with light sleep.

nice location, 30-40 mins to historical site, about 1 hr to Charlottetown, West Point lighthouse; about 1.5 hrs to North Cap, about 2 hrs to East Cap.

breakfast would be nice, but they do have basic kitchen stuffs provided such as pots/pans, utensils, fridge. grocery stores are within 5-10 drives, so not bad. Maybe a map/info with some amenities around town would be nice, like gas station, grocery stores, local farmers market etc.

I liked the location as it was central to everything I needed during my stay. It was also near several fast serve restaurants The room was very clean. It was just what it says on the advertising. It was a basic motel room. It was comfortable. I liked the room because it had all your basic needs and was clean.

I did not like that it did not offer coffee and tea. It would have been nice to sit and relax with a cup of tea.

Decent location.. could stroll to main harbor hub for meals, general site seeing and shops. Full kitchen with basics in cupboard/drawers were awesome. Clean room, no odor. Seemed recently renovated. Very friendly owner and staff as well.

Could use ice machine.

The location was a short walk to the water and right where we needed to be. Was clean, comfortable, and had a full kitchen. An older peoperty but good value for the price. I think there was onsite laundry, but we never used it.

The boardwalk could use a couple rails to assist seniors otherwise great place.

No Tea or coffee in the room

The room was very clean, a small fridge and microwave and a/c met our needs. It was close to shopping, walking trail and off the street far enough to be quiet. The manager is very personable and helpful.

The step from the parking spot to the door needs replacing but the steps at the edge of the communal porch made it easier to get up and down.

From the very first interaction the service was excellent, second to none . I would highly recommend, a very satisfied customer. I would absolutely recommend this motel, great service, I will definitely stay here on my next trip to Summerside PEI, kudos to the Shine motel , thank you. AAAAA+

upon arrival, saw the room, big and clean no compliant there.. impressed with the staff there, and when we were gone for the day they came in and replace garabage and towels, without asking, awesome services! will definetly book there again when we are coming back to pei

none, there nothing to complain about you pay for what you get. we just need a space to sleep and it was availble for the dates i need to go.
