Woodbine Hotel & Suites

We were staying only one night, we wanted to be able to park our rental car easily and the price was right so we chose Woodbine. The hotel itself is vintage and a bit spooky, but in that cool old hotel way. When we entered our room we found it slightly strange that the blackout drapes were closed and the room was dark. When we opened the blinds we realized that our rooms window did not look out to the outside, but instead overlooked the ballroom, as did the other rooms. This means of course without the blackout drapes you'd be risking sharing a bit too much with your neighbors. Also gave off a bit more Shining vibes, but again not in the worst way. The stay itself was uneventful, not many were staying so it was nice and quiet, and obviously no one smashed into our room with an axe so that was a bonus.

The staff we interacted with were not overly friendly. I don't know if any type of breakfast was offered, it may have been but the staff never mentioned it. It was in a pretty far out location, but as I said, the price was right and we had a rental car, so we didn't have an issue of transportation.

Well it was really a quick layover to our flight we had to checkout by 1:30.am. No eating facilities at the Hotel and breakfast was not till 7:00a.m. But lot’s of food options in the vicinity. We weren’t sure why we couldn’t check in before 3pm had asked them so it definitely wasn’t due to lack of availability. I think they could have gone the extra mile there and that would have been appreciated good proximity to Airport.

Room was clean and we were able to get a few extra sundry items as were needed.

The stage was amazing this time around . The first time I ever stayed there there was a front desk employee that was extremely rude and I swore to myself that I would never stay there again! We decided to try one more time as this Hillel is really close to everything we do while we are in Toronto.

we had to switch rooms a few times due to air conditioning and tv nit working . The staff were all amazing and did their best to make sure we were comfortable. Even with a power outage due to a big big storm that ripped the front doors off! They all tried their best . I was almost hit with the doors as I was running into the building to take shelter. They all made sure I was ok and was not injured in any way . I will actually be coming back July 1st -3 for another stay.

I arrived early and was given a room early. I was able to relax. Staff gave me wake up call and ordered me a cab on my departure morning. I was at the airport in good time

I wish I was told I would be so close to the Convention Center which was hosting a big event. The noise level kept me up well after midnight Friday night and Saturday night until 02:30 hours. Breakfast was good however not warm!! I went at 09:00 hours on Saturday and 07:00 hours Sunday

The complimentary breakfast was very tasty and had good variety of food choices All staff were very pleasant and helpful

Check in time was delayed by 1 hour & 15 minutes. Told that hotel was very busy and housekeepers were not quite finished cleaning rooms. Foyer/ reception area had very limited seating for waiting. Need to have more than 1 person working at check in times, not fair to their workload or the guests coming in. Need to provide another chair in the room besides the desk chair.

The breakfast and the staff were amazing, from the front desk staff to the kitchen staff and the staff in charge of taking care of the rooms, their supervisor Ms Sheridan was professional and so kind, I stay here for a while due to change of location, and me and my kids feel like it was home.

A lady that talk about customers behind them and she is so loud.

Breakfasts were good. The overall impression was good. The full service is also good enough

The bathroom vent was not so clean. The room windows go inside the restaurant, but not outside, that is why windows were always closed, and that is pretty dark even with the lights on

Travelling as a couple, the only thing that accommodated more than one person was the bed, as comfortable as the bed was, we could have used another chair

During our 8 day stay in the Toronto area, we had accommodations at three different hotels All the stays were great however a king bed should have king pillows. I'm just use to larger pillows

The staff changed towels and linens every day. Clean, warm, sunny side. There is a refrigerator and a microwave. Every day they brought us a bottle of water per person.

Breakfast was not tasty, but you can eat it. The room card was deactivated every day, we had to go to the reception and ask to activate it.

The room was nicely decorated and had a large king size bed that was very well maintained and comfortable. The staff were very efficient and accommodating as we had shown up quite late.

There really is not too many places to go out to eat around there. The accessible room was very obviously designed by someone who was not an inclusion specialist and did not consult the very people who may need the room or the family/caregiver of that individual.
