The signature room was really beautiful, with a great view of parliament. The bed was incredibly comfortable with soft sheets and the rain shower was a gorgeous touch. The staff at this hotel are extremely polite and helpful, they did a great job at making you feel comfortable and welcomed. Also the rooms are very soundproof and a great choice of tv channels. The hotel is situated in a great location just a short walk to the Rideau Centre and Byward Market.

The parking is hit or miss since the spaces indoors are really limited so on a busy weekend i feel you might not get a spot. The only thing negative i have to say about this hotel is that the breakfast was totally not worth the price. Most of the food was really cold and lacked any taste and the coffee was of really poor quality.

A beautiful hotel with friendly and helpful staff. the room was well decorated with a very comfortable easy chair with footstool by the windows, plenty of outlets and good lighting. very comfortable bed with cozy woolen rug next to it and good shower. Initially seemed a bit strange having shower (etched glass walls) essentially in the middle of the room but was fine and the bathroom area was spacious and the underfloor heating is wonderful. Molton Brown products are always a plus! The minibar was well stocked and good to have kettle as well as Nespresso machine (and real milk). staff very prompt in replying to requests and providing extra coffee capsules and tea. Norca restaurant was excellent, we had a wonderful dinner our first night with lovely servers, delicious cocktails, wine (good selection) and food (elk chaussons were melt-in-the mouth yummy) …. but not cheap!

location is good to walk to Byward Market, Rideau Centre and Ottawa Art Gallery is just next door (very interesting exhibitions) but the area is generally a little sketchy. would be nice to have more cups for tea/coffee. having one of each size a bit irritating and the Nespresso machine only produces espresso and about 110ml size so need more than one capsule for a full cup (using same capsule twice worked!). Pity there is no on-site spa. they recommended one nearby but had limited availability and closed at 5.

Location was excellent! Walking distance to so many sites and walking paths. The hotel was amazing but could be less expensive. We were disappointed they didn’t have room service and instead of a Nespresso machine a keurig or room service for coffee could be added. Not everyone likes Nespresso. The restaurant food was also limited. More casual recipes for lunches would be better. Service from staff was great except the evening we ate at the restaurant the manager was stressed about seating us because he was busy and wasn’t sure they could handle it. He was a bit rude to us and made his server anxious so she she was not the nicest. But It was great food so that made up for it. All around loved the hotel; but I would suggest adding room service for this price of hotel.

The room was very large, modern, and well laid out. The bed was comfortable. We liked the fact the floor was not carpeted and was wood/lvt instead- this always feels cleaner. The staff was friendly and courteous. The location was very good- we could easily walk to the Byward market and subway station. We would definitely stay there again. The room was quiet and well sound-proofed.

Beautiful room, lots of space, a comfy bed and an impressive view of Ottawa. Valet Parking was seamless. Front staff were helpful. Special requests were handled well. The restaurant served delicious cocktails, wine and food. Restaurant servers were especially thoughtful and made great suggestions. We will definitely return to Le Germain in the future.

The parking wouldn’t take my ticket I received at the front desk. Therefore I ended up paying 2 times plus what I paid at the front desk upon arrival. So parking was expensive but the hotel was incredibly and the staff was very welcoming and accommodating

This is a beautiful hotel with incredible staff. Every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful every step of the way. It is located steps away from Byward Market where you will find restaurants and pubs to suit every taste, and just minutes away from Parliament Hill. Everything is within walking distance.

Room was not as clean as I would like- hair on floor and in sink We had to ask for clean towels Could hear noise in halls and in room above- thin doors Although it is not the hotels fault there were A-LOT of drug addicts and unhoused people In The neighbourhood. Our kids had to walk by a man in a a drug induced manic state deficating and urinating on the street outside the hotel.

The staff was excellent; no issue that they could not resolve happily. That was a real standout. The room was very nice - clean and comfortable. The location was excellent; everything in walking distance.

The whole stay was nice. If I was nit-picking, I would say the shower was not great. But that is a small point.

Room was comfortable and the staffs were nice and helpful. House keeping came everyday of my stay so the room was always clean. Also the hotel is close by the Rideau centre and a good walking distance from Various tourist attractions and restaurants. I was only here for a few days but I enjoyed my stay here. I enjoyed their complimentary coffee and being able to stream Netflix! Will definitely come back when next I visit Ottawa
