Irina was very helpful. Having bikes available was a real plus. The neighborhood is nice and very walkable. We were provided a map and recommendations on things to do and where to walk. The omelets at breakfast were good.

We were expecting a refrigerator and microwave as advertised in our room amenities. The owners occupy their kitchen so using those facilities was not really an option. Irina gave us some ice when we arrived, but we were not able to get any after check-in. We had the best, and only room with a private bath. It was described as “Deluxe”, but is not at all deluxe compared to other rooms we have booked anywhere.

Charming house with a big comfortable communal living room and large table for breakfast. Irena was a great host. My room was small but comfortable with a nice desk and coffee maker in the room, Decent amount of space to store your stuff. It was very clean. Breakfasts were large and tasty. Felt comfortable and at home. One of the nicest places I've had in Ottawa in this price range. Perfect location if you're there for the one of the local embassies..

It's about a 20 minute walk to Downtown with no convenient public transit options. There was a bar to hang clothes but strangely no hangers. Room was small with slanted roof. Window has no screen so bugs are an issue at night. Only 1 bathroom for 6 people meant line ups in the morning.

It’s a beautiful home. The bathroom was shared with other guess of the same floor. I think I saw just one other person. The bathroom was clean, well stocked and good smell The bedroom was of a good size, the bed was comfortable and look clean and neat. Irina was kind, informative of the area and helpful. Although I was not able to stay for breakfast since I just one night and an early start. The food smelled great! I would definitely recommended this to family and friends.

The breakfast each day was superb - great hot egg dishes with veggies and bacon plus juice, toast (even gluten-free toast) and home-made jam. There was also fresh made crepes and cereals on offer. Wonderful!

I arrived at 1am and rang the doorbell for 20 minutes and no one came to the door. I was getting very worried. I finally checked my phone and saw that I wasn't supposed to ring the doorbell but call instead. Once I called, Irina came right away.

The Ambassador B and B is in a great location in Ottawa and is spacious and attractive. The room was large, with a very comfortable king-sized bed, and all the needed amenities. The host, Irina, was fantastic. She was very welcoming and helped orient us to our location and places in the area to explore. The highlight was the fabulous breakfast Irina prepared each morning with crepes, and made to order eggs, bacon or omelettes, delicious coffee and juices. It was so nice to get to know the other guests while enjoying such a delicious breakfast. it was a great place to stay and we will definitely return when back in Ottawa.

Irina was an amazing hostess!! Always making sure we had what we needed and happy to offer tips and ideas on what to do in the city and how to get places. The breakfast was superb!! I have never had such delicious omelettes. And, she made us fresh mint tea with mint from her garden! What a treat! Another lovely bonus was Archibald the cat...such a sweet creature! If you’re thinking of staying here, do it. You’ll be glad you did!

Wonderfully accommodating hosts; Irina met me and let me check it past the check-in time due to my flight being later. The property itself is a gorgeous older house. Breakfast was delicious.

The fan system in the room is very loud and had me up a few times during the night when it kicked in. Some other visitors were not at all respectful of the quiet hours, and the hosts didn't do much about it.

A perfect place to stay in Ottawa!!!! Thanks to hosts Irina and Dmitrii, I enjoyed my stay so much. Located in the city center, I did not need to use public transportation at all!!! Everything you need is easy reachable by foot. I was afraid to book the last available room (with shared bathroom), but it ended up the best possible choice. The place is organised in a way, when noone interferes each other. Waiting for my next trip to stay here!

Everything was excellent, starting from breakfast with home-made jam and syrup, ending up with large and EXTREMELY clean shared bathroom. Feels like the whole place was renovated recently

Beautiful building in a lovely walkable district. Wonderful breakfast served and I got to chat with some of the other guests. Staff were really helpful in holding my luggage after checkout so I could explore a bit more before going to the airport.

The attic bedroom had a small bed. I’m not complaining; it was very comfortable (I’m 6 ft tall) but some may not like it.

Irina is a great host. She accommodated my late arrival time, asked what time I want breakfast served and was very helpful ! The room and bathroom were very clean !

providing bathroom items like tooth paste and a basic face wash would be helpful for quick travellers like myself. I have to say there was shampoo, body wash, hand wash and toilet paper, etc. available so I can't complain.
