modern spaceous suite with fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and enough space to store luggage. Also a 2 place table was installed in the kitchen to have dinner. The hotel is located at the pedestrian zone, where it takes a 15min walk to the parliament. You can also use the street facing the library and court to get to the parlamient. To go to Gatinau, was we made the Zip Line, this takes you also 15min on pedestrian pathes. Ottawa is really easy to discover by bicycle or by walking and I can recommend do a bike tour first of you stay to get a great overview.

Breakfast was included, but we went there only once. Please check the notes in the room by when the breakfast has a wait. It was standard breakfast with 4 stations you could bake your own waffles. We only drink expresso and eat dried ham, salami, salmon etc. we enjoyed this in our room and ordered more coffee capsules for the room. I would have loved if you could open a window from time to time to get fresh air. The air condition worked fine, but was very loud.

The location was excellent, very close to Parliament Hill and other sights in the area. It is a short ride to the War Museum and National Art Gallery (We used Uber) The included breakfast was nice with eggs, pea meal bacon on one day and Sausage patties the next, beans and home fries. There is a selection of juices, fruit, yogurt, pastries and cereal. There is also a waffle station to make your own waffles

The one thing that was within the hotel's control that was quite disappointing was the on dinner we had in the in house restaurant. The menu didn't really appeal to us, but we were tired from travel and didn't want to venture out in the heat. I ordered the soup as a starter and a chicken dish as the main course, my wife ordered the burger. The soup was good, my wife's burger was served at the same time as the soup, she said it was good but probably over priced. She was finished her meal before my main course showed up, I cut into the chicken and it was quite under cooked, I sent it back and cancelled the order. We paid the bill and left. All in all a black mark on what was otherwise a very pleasant stay.

This was a lovely spot for a couple of nights in Ottawa. Room was lovely, Bed comfy. It is a great hotel. Modern feel.

We brought home our dessert one night and had to eat with big spoons. There were no forks or small spoons in the drawers. We felt the kitchen was not well equipped. HOWEVER, our second day there (we had requested room servicing) the dishwasher was on/finished. (They actually put 2 spoons and 1 cup in the dish washer and ran a cycle.) When we opened the dishwasher door we found the missing silverware. We hadn't noticed when we arrived that the dishwasher has a quite a large notice that anything in there was clean and available for use. I don't believe I should have to put away the previous guests dirty/then cleaned dishes. We washed our spoons and cups that we used before leaving the room. This was a small thing but I found it odd. It in no way diminished our enjoyment of the room.

Breakfast was great, enjoyed the seating area. Appreciated the take out containers Loved how easy it was to get to subway (right across the street) and it was so quick and convenient to get to our destinations! Rooms were super quiet, never heard other people or hallway noise! Liked the shower products as well as soap and lotion

Gym- waaaay too hot and not that much equipment, mostly cardio and a lot of that type of equipment Dishes- kitchen did not have much in it as far as dishes or cooking pots/pans

I didn’t expect a 3-star hotel to look that clean and have such great interior. Rooms were clean and had everything we needed. The staff was super friendly and helpful! The breakfast was good, lots of options to choose from. The only thing to mention is that usually there was just one option of meat protein each day (1st day - sausage, 2nd day - sausage, 3rd day - bacon), which didn’t bother me at all but it might be important for somebody else. The egg omelete/scrambled eggs were very good! They also serve a bunch of baked goods, yogurt, juices, cereal, pancakes, waffles, hash browns, etc. you won’t leave hungry! And the most important - location! There was a subway station very close to the hotel as well as a bunch of sites to visit like parliament, parks, and Byward market. Our group wanted to explore the city so we walked a lot and I can say it’s pretty easy to go around the city and arrive at destinations by walk, because the streets aren’t too big/long and, comparing to Toronto, the steers are not busy at all. The public transportation also seemed accessible readily, but we didn’t really use it.

The pillows on the bed were way to soft to my taste but I understand it’s hard to meet everyone’s requirements/needs. My friends said they were fine with the pillows. There was no bottled water in the room but you can have the reception help you get it or drink from the tap 😅

Very good breakfast and loved the option to take it to go due to time constraints. Our favourite staff member was the cook from the kitchen that came out to replenish the breakfast food. He was cheerful and hardworking and offered great suggestions to visit Chinatown. The gym was excellent, and the pool was beautiful and clean.

Needed more checkin trolleys or a system that brought them back to the front lobby quicker after use. Parking cost on top the price for the hotel was expensive.

Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Pool had towels. Great location. Allowed early check in. Having the kitchenette was convenient.

It was a good place to stay, however some observations which may be useful: 1) Pool is BUSY! Don't expect to do any laps - except maybe early in the morning. 2) Sofa bed is not the most comfortable sleeping arrangement - although, I haven't found one that is. 3) long line for breakfast 4) Pillows could be better. They were a little flat. 5) I booked 2 rooms for my family - they were not next to each other, but it was close enough.

The breakfast was decent. It provided basic meals to the morning...Coffee, tea, juice ...basic essentials. the amenities at the hotel were sufficient to our family's needs especially being a suite, where it had a kitchen with fridge, sink and dishwasher (even had some plates and bowls)

I was not initially pleased with the receptionist at the hotel who greeted us. We had booked a king suite with bedroom. Upon arrival and checking, they told us that none were available. There was no communication to us that the room was not available prior to our arrival and the receptionist tried to convince me to downgrade our room even when I had already paid for the room. After arguing and having them talk to management, I was able to get my room that I had reserved...the nerve.

The room was really big and it was great to have the large kitchenette. The staff were really really helpful and Patrick the barman was very good! The food was lovely at the bar. Even though it is located away from the part of town where the Fairmont and shops are, it was really easy to walk everywhere because it is pretty flat,

The air conditioning was very very loud in the room which made it hard to sleep. The pillows were very soft (which some people like) but even 2 were too flat for me.

Breakfast was varied. The restaurant tried to cater to the taste of the diverse nationalities of its guest through the breakfast menu. Overall, it was excellent value for money.

The lunch/dinner menu could however do some more to include rice served with beef/chicken sauce and generous servings of vegetables to appeal more to its African and Asian customers. Also, they could be more generous with the lunch/dinner served portions.
