Nipissing Inn

I am deaf and I often run into difficulty checking in but not here. The man who checked me in was very friendly very accommodating and patient where I tried to figure out what he was saying by reading his lips. I discovered that I could not turn on the closed captioning to be able to read the TV I went back and told him so he explained that I needed the second remote for the TV which was located in the drawer directly below the tv and said if you have trouble by all means come back to the office. Well after a long drive I somehow could not see the remote and went back to the office to say there was no second remote he and a young lady came back to my room and the remote was exactly where they said it was haha and we work together and got the closed captioning on and I was very happy I apologize for having not been able to find it myself they were very patient and understanding and I would highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely stay there again if and when I'm up in North Bay.

I would have liked to have had a choice of a small breakfast maybe some croissants or muffins to go with my coffee and I made but oh well

It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. We were very pleased with that. We'd been on the road for nearly 30 hours and both exhausted. We needed a clean, comfortable bed to sleep in. We found that!!! Very happy there.

The price was much too high. We were on our way home to NB from AB where we attended our son's wedding. We'd stayed at Motel 6 most nights and paid $126 (taxes in), which included complimentary breakfast. Thursday, we travelled from Brandon MB to Nipissing ON (yes that's one LONG drive), trying to find a hotel. We'd hoped to stay in Thunder Bay but everything was booked solid. We finally found a room at the Nipissing Motel. We didn't want to spend that much but what choice did we have? We'd already been on the road close to 30 hours with my husband being the only driver. He was totally exhausted. The room cost us $160 and there was no complimentary breakfast. Unless the price is comparable to Motel 6, we wouldn't stay there again.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The toilet was low so was difficult for my mother. She has mobility issues so was unable to use the tub or shower.

The whole room was sparkling, the air conditioner was impeccable, washroom, towels, and linen were super clean as well. They offer free coffee machine with coffee, coffee mate, and sugar sachets (you can also find shampoo, soap and hair conditioner in the washroom). The personnel is super kind and accommodating! It was amazing, everything we thought it would be and even better. Thanks!

The bed was comfortable, the owner/staff extremely friendly, the location great and the room clean. We will certainly be back if looking for accommodation in the area.

An older chair in the room that could due to be replaced, but everything else was amazing.

Since finding this gem a few years ago, it is my go to place when I visit North Bay. Friendly owner, helpful! Rooms are clean, beds are fantastic, and a great size. I've never had a problem with a Room. It's quiet and great location.

Room was clean. Bed was very comfortable. Despite being on a main road, it was still fairly quiet. Fun using actual keys instead of keycards.

Proprietor was curt, borderline rude upon check-in.

It’s about a 25 minute walk to the nearest restaurant. 30min to the closest convenience store.

We loved our stay, it was surprising very clean didn't expect that. The staff was very nice and friendly.

Easy to find and get back in the road the next day. Very clean. Had a good nights rest. Friendly staff. Dan and Yani run a good business.

The AC unit is a little noisy but helps drown out any outside noise. Ie traffic going by.
