Old Stone Inn Boutique Hotel

The location was great! We were able to walk to all of the tourist destinations! We parked when we arrived and didn't use our vehicle again until we left. Very close to the Falls, Clifton Hill, Skylon Tower, the Casino and multiple restaurants!

Parking was not included, which was disappointing. The parking lot we did use was gravel. The hotel looked very charming on the website, but upon arrival, it was very old and pretty dark and dingy. There is an indoor pool, so the halls were quite hot and humid. The window in our room looked out at the indoor pool. I would rather have looked outside. The window was also pretty dirty. There was no bar fridge or microwave in our room. The television was not clear, it had static lines running across the screen.

the pool wasn’t warm, so it wasn’t fun to go in, also we had 2 rooms and only 1 had a coffee maker- thankfully they had Starbucks coffee in the lobby!

Comfy beds with great sheets and pillows, good AC. Pets allowed. Enough room space for 2-3 people. The location is great, walking distance to many different restaurants and attractions at the Falls.

No mini-bar, no swimming pool, and no complimentary breakfast. The TV was too small and some channels didn't work properly. A lot of extra fees such as breakfast, parking, and pet fee.

Excellent overall....staff were all very nice and professional. Room was clean, with comfy beds & bedding.....loved the infrastructure & character of the place!!! Despite being an older building, I felt some aspects such as bathroom facilities could have been more modern. Upon checking out I provided feedback (to possibly a Manager) and he was very receptive, advising that they will be addressing the issues I raised. The location is very strategic and within walking distance to Skylon Tower. If I go back to Niagara, I would have no hesitation in staying at Old Stone again.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved the decor and atmosphere. In better weather perfect location for walking to different attractions.

Although the rooms are very clean they are a bit small. We had a fire place and only 1 cozy chair to sit by it. Could not enjoy as a couple. We did not get to enjoy the restaurant although I am sure it is lovely. Our adult children and spouses were with us and it was a bit out of their price range.

Loved the room, clean, comfortable. Check in was easy, hotel staff were kind and knew it was my daughter’s birthday and gave her a card and maple syrup! What a nice touch.

What we didn’t like - pool was not open but we understand this is probably due to Covid and why does parking have to be $25?

We came from England to see Niagara falls, had a warm welcome, we arrived at our double Queen room and realised there was a smell In the room so we spoke to reception and they moved us straight away to the room next door to our friends, service was exceptional and even had a few spooky stories from the gent who I believed was the general manager and also the illusionist for the hotel. The beds were the most comfortable out of all the hotels we stayed in, decor is beautiful and honestly, I'm still fantasising about the beds since I'm back in England!! If I was to return to Niagara falls, this would definately be my go to place to stay!

Absolutely nothing!

I live in Niagara Falls but have never stayed here. This was one place I've always been interested in staying. The location, the look of the building, the history all intrigued me! I finally decided to do it. The room was spacious and clean (the rug had some stains from cigarettes and what looked like wine). I love that they have the juliette balconies and you can open them right up and no screens. I didn't get a chance to check out all of the amenities unfortunately. I stayed in room 215 and during my visit the one lamp turned on by itself (the lamps are old and have to be turned on by hand, no wall switch). I did a room tour and you can see this happen in the video. Someone also pointed out that there were some orbs in the video. If anyone knows of any other incidents like this I would love to know!! outdated a bit for the price

The Flour Mill restaurant was excellent. The hotel and our room was very clean.

They did not consistently clean our room from day to day. Staff was minimally helpful and didn't go out of their way to be hospitable. We needed help finding a restaurant at one point and the staff looked at us like they were clueless, no offers to help or suggest something else, like it was our problem and not theirs. Very poor concierge service from a service desk at a nice hotel. We also had to ask the staff to re-set our key cards on a daily basis. The staff sometimes acted like we were bothering them, but this was clearly an issue with their system.

My partner and I stayed at Old Stone Boutique in June of 2023 and it was the most wonderful experience we’ve had in a while. The staff were nothing but nice to us no matter the task we asked of them. The bartender working the night of our stay , let us try different drinks and showed us. The staff opened the fireplace up for Us with zero hesitation or complaints. Overall, I highly recommend the Old Stone Boutique as your next stay as my partner and I have nothing but amazing things to say about this place and their staff! Thanks again!

It would have been nice to have had a mini fridge but that’s about it.
