Bancroft Inn & Suites

The property is value for money given the rates at which motels are renting out these days. The location is good at the edge of Bancroft downtown close to everything. The bed is comfortable and the room is a good size for a family.

The refrigerator doesn’t work well, little cooling. The restroom is a bit small and doesn’t have a hair dryer so that’s to be kept in mind. The internet is a bit slow if you are looking for speed.

It was clean and the room lookrd updated. It was a good stay. The lady at the office that checked me in was great. She was very nice.

The front entrance and the stair door I found both were a heavy door to.open. I would not say anything bad. I don't stay away from home often, it is always a scare until I get there. I was very pleased when I opened the door to my room.

Lovely view from the front of the property. The person who handled our check in was helpful and pleasant. Hotel was older, but the rooms were upgraded. I appreciated the hardwood floor in our room, as opposed to the dirty and smelly carpets that hotel rooms often have.

Not the fault of the hotel, but the folks in the room beside us were noisy well past 1:00am and were talking loudly outside of our door while they were smoking outside. The office was closed for the night, so nobody to monitor this or to complain to about it.

The room was clean and beds were comfortable. Parking was right in front of our room. The check in was quick & staff was friendly. We decided to stay an extra night to enjoy the area. I would definitely stay here again.

Staff was very welcoming and helpful with all needs. The room was spotless upon arrival. Every encounter with the staff they were always welcoming and making sure our stay was great.

Only thing I can think of is the coffee maker did not have a filter and that I had to go out of my way and get one from the dollar store. But it truly wasn’t a big deal just me being picky.

The room was very clean and it looked like it was recently updated (flooring, amenities). There was a fridge and microwave which was perfect because we had food to heat up. The bed was comfortable. The balcony had new chairs to lounge on while enjoying the weather. Staff was friendly. There was an AC unit in the room that you could manually control.

Conveniently located on the road we were travelling on, and surprisingly quiet. Not much traffic , if any, at night. Very clean rooms, clean bathrooms, it looks like they’ve done some recent renovations. Beds were super comfortable. Great check in process. The receptionist recommended a couple restaurants in town. We went with one of them and it was a great suggestion!

It was a nice, quiet location and the room was comfortable and clean.

We never did find the complimentary breakfast that the website advertised, but location was a quick drive to town.

Convenient location near local event. Looks recently refreshed. Room was heated when we arrived (not the case for another motel in a nearby town I used in the past).

A bit noisy from other patrons, but they were probably excited people with the same local event, so not the Inn's fault... Was quiet by nighttime.

Our stay was fantastic. Clean and perfect location. There was only one thing, breakfast was advertised only to find out the following day it was not available. Maybe it was due to covid and all. However, great place to stay. Thank you.
