Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Aurora, an IHG Hotel

Very professional staff, accommodating, and courteous

Everything was great. If I really have to pick on something, the highway facing rooms are probably a bit noisy. But there is nothing the hotel can do. It's just the location, which is extremely convenient location-wise (2 min from the highway), but comes at the expense of a bit noisy room especially in the late hours. That said, you will not have an issue after an hour and you will get used to the mild noise threshold. The windows are pretty well constructed to keep 90% of the noise out. The staff really over-compensate with their can-do and professional gesture. Overall, the hotel and the staff deserve a A+ grade.

Spacious room and bathroom, friendly staff, easy connection to internet, nice-feeling linens, comfy beds. I liked that there were hooks and ledges/benches to put suitcases and bags on, made the initial enter-and-unpack much easier! I also liked that the window blinds went straight down into a lipped edge so absolutely no light shining through when drawn.

The hotel is right beside a highway and I wish the windows kept out a little more sound from that. The free breakfast, while definitely nice for most people, was a little wasted on me and my strict dietary limitations. I can't do dairy, sugar or grains (I know!) but usually do eggs for breakfast. I was disappointed that the eggs had cheese folded in otherwise I would have gone for those. Looked good though!

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Very clean and followed safe protocols. Beds were very comfortable, it was quiet and there was a good space to work. House keeping staff were exceptional, would stay at this chain again. Breakfast was decent too, very convenient way to grab a bite to eat. Laundry facilities were a bonus to have on site!

There was nothing really to complain about, I did use the pool a few times and it was a bit cloudy and a little chilly but still nice to have the use of that facility. Booked a private hour in the pool so felt very safe.

The room was spacious, extremely clean, and comfortable. Everything seemed brand new. I was visiting Richmond Hill and usually stay in Markham, but this will be my new place to stay.

There is a bit of construction, so it is a bit farther to get there, but they are opening up a new intersection. Once that is done, it will be much easier access from the hotel to the shops and restaurants and also the Highway

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The lobby was gorgeously decorated with the convenience of workstations, the room was spotless, beautifully decorated, very spacious and the beds were extremely comfortable.. I really have no complaints it was a wonderful stay! Thank you to all the staff! 👌🏽💯

The location was a bit difficult to find at first and not super close to anything but the highway but I had a vehicle so it really wasn’t an issue.. other than that I have no complaints.. will definitely stay here again

I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THIS HOTEL!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!! we stayed for 3 WEEKS and will be staying another 2 nights before our flight. the whole hotel is extremely clean. the rooms are very very comfortable and clean. the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. location is great 👍🏻 microwave fridge and coffee machine are available in your own room. has a laundry room as well on main floor. I totally love this hotel.

location, spacious rooms, good breakfast. Very accommodating for early check in and late check out, due to my work schedule.

pool was not warm..nearly cold. breakfast ends early at 9:30…should be at least 10am. pillows were uncomfortable.

The breakfast was really great, and the room was very comfortable. The bathroom has everything that I needed for my shower and the facilities were great! Overall, I would say this is a very nice hotel to stay at!

The price is a bit expensive, as a student, it was a bit over my budget but it's the only place available in the area.

One staff told me I couldn’t order in food when I was calling to ask to speak to my son in his room. It was really odd as I never said anything about food . He was a bit rude .

I like the cleanliness and the location's ;proximity to my needs. I also have friends and family in the area. So it is a perfect place to stay. It is also close to the Highway 404 which makes it easy to access.

Because it is close to the Highway 404, there was a lot of traffic noise early in the morning. Even though I did not have any open windows.
