Hampton Inn Sydney

The staff were fabulous. The breakfast was very good! It was great to have access to a restaurant with really good food... we had supper there three times in three nights and were not disappointed once. The cleaning staff were friendly and accommodating. We were very happy with the room and the rest of the facilities. The bathroom was also very nice - we liked the shower and the layout.

There was an issue with the phone on my side of the bed. Every night around 3am it started to blink (a red light would come on indicating that there was a message on there) which was disturbing as well as distressing. I hit #337 and our room number to get rid of the blinking light but it was still bothersome.

The breakfast is very good, and the room is very clean. The location is top-tier and this is the perfect place for the final stop of your trip.

There was only one functioning elevator when we arrived there, so the waiting line for the elevators can be long (Hopefully, they have fixed it by now). There was only one set of laundry machinery as well, and for a hotel with a swimming pool, this might not be enough at peak season.

Staff where friendly, fast internet, pool with side, weight room, water station in lobby. Breakfast well stocked and kept hot. Recycling in breakfast area.

When we booked we asked for a quiet room. We where placed at the end of the hall (nice) on the top floor (nice) with 2 barking dogs next to us. (not nice) When we called down they said they would talk with the people. Dogs must have been left alone as the dogs continued barking. They where barking again day two but not as much. We where told pets where not to be on the sixth floor yet all three rooms on our side of the hall, all had dogs (signs hung on doors said so) The sad part is we are animal lovers but not when dealing with bad owners.

Mitchell and Red head female (sorry..name?) Super friendly and accommodating!!! Dealt with Mitchell mostly...great guy!! 😁👍 Room was comfortable and breakfast was great!

Did not like that one one elevator working...and the bridge was like a sauna!!! Tough for a 90yr old...never mind others...to deal with.

Close to where I needed to be, breakfast area and selection was the best I’ve ever experienced at a hotel.

I was placed on second floor by pedway and above the front desk so it was noisier. Also noisy between the rooms, on the second night I got to hear the neighbours child have a long screaming tantrum.

Breakfast was much better than most hotels that include a breakfast. Could not ask for better.

The only disappointment was on the exterior of the building. The amount of garbage and trash was exceptionally bad! The only clean grounds were in the front entrance. Behind and beside the hotel looked like a badly run landfill site. This causes concern of cleanliness the other things you cannot see in the hotel.

Very friendly, funny, and welcoming staff - the front desk employees and cleaning personnel were all very personable. This is the first hotel I've stayed in where I didn't have to call for more towels - plenty are provided. Lots of shampoo/body wash vs the little one-time use bottles you find at most other properties. The pillows are heaven! The self-serve coffee/tea/ hot chocolate bar in lobby was so nice

Everything was organized and very nice. I had a great time at the pool with my kids they had a lot of fun too! The breakfast buffet was super delicious.

Just a minor complaint, not really about the hotel, but about the restaurants around the area. Most of the restaurants close around 8:00 to 8:30 so if you come in late you don’t have a lot of food options other than fast-food.

I think I already rated your hotel. We thought the front deask staff were particularly pleasant and helpful. They showed a real desire to make our stay memorable. Both checking in and out we were met with smiles and what seemed like genuine interest in us. The room was beautiful, the breakfast was excellent with wonderful hosts. We will definitely be choosing this hotel when we visit Sydney again! And good luck with the repairs.

Breakfast was good. Room was modern and clean and beds were comfortable. Room was spacious as well.

I asked for fresh towels and to replenish toilet paper and clear garbage in the morning and in the evening it was not done. I had to go down to the front desk to get the toilet paper and they sent someone up with towels and gave me a bag to collect the garbage. I thought I was the guest… Overall it was a good hotel and we would stay again.
