Quality Hotel & Suites

We loved the location, the breakfast (would have loved bacon on one of the three mornings though) and loved that it had a pool (last night's stay it was closed though because a child pooped in it the night before) overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again!

The check in was a long wait - almost an hour as the rooms were not ready. Should have had something set up where you could check in and come back instead of having people standing in lines for over an hour We booked with this hotel because it had a pool but we couldn't use it the last night of our stay because a child had pooped in the pool the night before. I wish they could have had other back up for us to take the kids elsewhere swimming

Very quiet, comfortable beds great location

Was visiting with my elderly mother and asked if we could possibly check in at 1:30 . Went there and was told that I couldn't check in. When I returned at the suggested check-in time. We had to wait in line for over an hour. My mother was exhausted, we had traveled from Gros Morne. I understand that it was early, but since it was really busy because of Come From Away I don't understand why we couldn't pre check in, so when we came back, we could have just gone directly to our room.

I always worry about hotels with the word 'Quality' in the title. Quite often they're anything but that. However this was a great place with comfortable rooms, great food in the restaurant and amazing staff. Seriously, they're such friendly folk who took time to have a conversation with you and make you feel welcome on their island. I didn't try the pool but it looked like plenty of folk made use of it. Also lots of parking.

That I had to leave when my time was up.

Good information on evenings run by the hotel and breakfast times, big room with a desk and mini fridge, seemed fairly clean and functioned well as a hotel

The view from my room was mostly the pebbled roof and some air conditioning units, not a great variety for breakfast but definitely tolerable. Long wait for check in (arrived about 10 mins after it started and waited another 10 mins), not pleasantly walkable to places of interest as it’s essentially on the highway but it could be done if needed

For 10+ years I was a Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor, so, file of habit has me expecting the room thoroughly. I was beyond pleased with the cleanliness of the room. The bed and pillows were quite comfortable. Both myself and my husband were pleased.

To be honest, I have nothing adverse to say. My area was quiet… staff was pleasant and welcoming… common area of the hotel was clean and pleasant also

Excellent full breakfast tended to by very friendly staff. Located right on Trans Canada Hwy and easy to find. Clean, comfy beds, helpful and friendly support staff. Pool and gym looked great although we didn’t have time to use them.

Would have loved a kettle to boil hot water for instant meal when we arrived late but the front desk lady wouldn’t even check the kitchen to see if there was one available. Her suggestion to run hot water through the coffee maker was gross.

It was very accommodating considering I booked last minute with 2 German Shepherds. They upgraded my room so I could have private access to let the dogs in and out. That is appreciated so much because traveling with pets can be hard, especially with large dogs. They slept like babies on the extra queen bed.

Clean with a nice staff. Free breakfast was a treat (being Newfoundland, fried bologna was on the buffet which I haven’t had in 40 years!).

Stairs to half the rooms on the 2nd floor make it difficult for handicapped individuals. Ensure you specify that you are disabled when making your booking!

Good customer service; clean room very comfy bed. Nice quiet stay.

Complimentary breakfast could of been better. While understanding the hotel was pretty full, there wasn't much for breakfast when we arrived. Even while we ate the little we had, nothing was replenished during that time. Oh well.

The staff was welcoming and the location worked for us as we were traveling in and out of Gander each day for excursions around the area.

I was not impressed that the pool was closed for the 2 days we were there as this was one of the main reasons we booked at this hotel.
