front desk staff when we checked in were super nice, welcoming, and accommodating. the lobby was very nicely decorated, I liked that there was 2 elevators, super convenient. the fireplace in the room was amazing! warmed the room right up so fast - liked that it had a timer. the bed was super comfortable, I miss those pillows. the waterfall shower was super nice, need to get me one of those. the full kitchenette was a great feature, we just ended up eating out otherwise would have been great to just cook in the room. house keepers were nice when I asked for some extra things one day. patio was a nice feature, added a lot of natural light during the day. other than random noises in the walls (pipes? vents?) you couldn’t hear your neighbours which was amazing!

the couch in the room was very squeaky. the dishwasher wasn’t unloaded before our arrival, was wondering why it seemed like a lot of dishes were missing. $24 a night parking is absolutely outrageous and disgusting. should be included with the room.

The hotel is situated right in the Village, a few steps away from the pedestrianised streets and surrounded by views of mountain tops. The room was extremely special with a balcony, a built-in faux log fire in a lounge area, a large bed, kitchenette including cooker, hob, fridge, dishwater and utensils. As well as a large shower there was an ENORMOUS waterjet bubble bath in the room, next to the bed! I had the most amazing bath. The room was comfortable and very clean.

Paying an extra $24 for parking stung a bit.

Nice Property, great location in the village. The bath tub in the room was incredible and my pregnant wife loved it for getting a soak in after the pool. The Pool and hot tub area is quite small and it was a busy weekend so not the best, but we had a good time either way. Great restaurants onsite as well with Quattro and Alta Bistro but located at the hotel. Was a great hotel for our two small dogs and the property was very inviting to them.

The beds were a little hard for us but not bad. Also the pool area and hot tub were smaller but nice that it was outdoor, especially since the weather was good that weekend. Also, the bathtub was a bit dirty when we arrived, but not a big deal.

Spacious room, clean, close to the village. Easily accessible. Plates, glasses and cutlery were more than enough and I liked many of those were provided.

Amenities could have been much better for the price and level of hotel it is. No water (even though tap water could've been used) providing couple of water bottles as an essential like coffee can be a good addition. No electric outlet anywhere near the bed which should've been an obvious one. Washroom amenities, the shower glass was either removed or fixed in a way that it does not fully cover. The hair dryer and power outlet were too far away to even use infront of the mirror.

The location of this property is fantastic. It’s right on the free bus line to the gondolas, which go by a lot in peak times ( every 10-15 min). And after skiing down the mountain to the village, there is a ski out area to the buses- which is perfect, you take your skis off and walk on the bus!! The village stroll is about a min walk from the pinnacles, and you find yourself somewhere in the middle. You are also a very short walk to two grocery stores. If you come into The Village Gate via bus, it’s only a 1 min walk to the hotel via Main Street. You do not need a car in this hotel. Everything is at your doorstep. The hotel has two coin operated washer & dryer. They have lifts to each floor and a huge locker room for skis on the main floor. The kitchenette was great and had an oven and stove top, so we could cook actual meals. The gas fireplace was warming and provided lots of ambiance We had a room with a huge bathtub and that was deliciously warming for the bones after skiing.

The bathtub wasn’t perfectly clean when I first arrived and I just cleaned it myself. When we had housekeeping service subsequently, the bathtub was cleaned perfectly. The WiFi was just ok. I think it was more to do with the amount of people at the resort, rather than a problem at the hotel ( week just before Christmas ). Their hot tub was thru the reception and then outside the driveway to another area. I didn’t even bother to go look…it was just too ridiculous. Glad I got the room with the huge bathtub.

The guy from Quebec City on the front desk was very helpful and friendly. The room itself was comfortable, and the beds were quite good. The location was convenient except for the drunks outside the window at 3 am

The elevator was very annoying especially when going to the laundry with doors on both sides but only one opening. We had the window open to take advantage of the fresh air but the constant parade of drunken loud idiots outside kept waking us up. When we closed the windows and the blinds and put on the AC the blinds covered the AC unit which was right below the window. This is poorly thought out that on a hot summer night you have to have the blinds open in order for the AC to work properly.

The kids loved the pool and the jacuzzi tub in our room! We loved how close we were to the center of the village! The beds and pillows were comfy.

Its an older building, but has been well maintained. The A/C could not keep our room cool enough with temps of 32°C outside. The parking, that costs $25/night was ridiculous. The spots are so tight and you can't turn around anywhere. We opted for other parking. The studio was a bit cramped for 4 of us. Two adults, 2 small kids. Only 2 dining chairs and barely enough room to sit at the table.

Front desk staff was very nice and helpful. Hotel well taken care of, good facilities. Room was very well cleaned, all the kitchen utensils were impeccable. Beds were very comfortable and the balcony was huge. We loved staying here, especially considering the price point.

Kitchen could use an update, but everything was working. The exhaust fan in the bathroom couldn't be turned off. 24$+tax for a parking spot in the garage was too much (it seems to be normal price though, and alternatively there are 2 free parking lots within a 5/10 minute walk). None of this would prevent me from going back, we loved our stay.

The room was a great size and had nice amenities. We loved the location and walkability to shops and restaurants! There was a really pretty forested area and fun playground right next to the hotel. I also appreciated the affordability of the room.

Although it was SO nice to have a designated parking garage, it was such a tight squeeze to get in! We drove a truck and it took a long time to maneuver into place. It was also nice to have a spa tub, but it was a little strange that it wasn't in the bathroom, and was in the sleeping area instead.

Spent our honeymoon here and we loved the location, such easy walks into both villages and gorgeous scenery surrounding the property. I love that all the rooms have a hot tub and fireplace, and the room we selected had a mountain view and lovely balcony with 2 seats and a wee table. Such excellent value for what you get. You cannot find a deal like this anywhere else in Whistler....

Nothing to complain about here, but I'd love to see hot chocolate packets included in the complimentary drinks in the room. (I drank all the tea!)
