The price.

The operator scared me by almost withholding my damage deposit. According to some poor bookkeeping, he told me the damage deposit had been repaid when it had not. I had absolutely no other money and needed the refund to continue my trip. He made me wait a long time when it wasn't my fault at all. I said why would someone have returned my damage deposit when my stay wasnt over yet. This ruined my whole experience as I was afraid I was going to be broke and stranded. If you want to be scared to death and have your integrity challenged, then this is the place to stay. I won't be staying here again.

Too much scent in the (very clean!) sheets

We were not informed there could be loud banging from plumbing repairs at 8 am The next door people were loud to 3 am I could not find the desk phone number Bathroom sink tap leaks, just letting you know Thank you for this inquiry

Super clean. We have high standards, and we were both happy to see how clean it was.

We didn't notice the AC for some odd reason, and it was a hot night. Our fault. I guess it would be an idea for them to turn on the AC for us before we arrive, as we did inform them we would be a little later. Other hotels usually turn on the AC on low before guests arrive, just to have a pleasant entrance into the room. Just a thought. Some loud traffic went by, but was not continuous - We brought ear plugs as always when we travel.

it’s cute. It was also close to the Port Theatre and the waterfront that brought me to Nanaimo.

A wee bit rundown in certain outdoor areas but the room itself was very nice and clean. However in this era of cr. card theft, l wasn’t too happy with the fact that they WROTE my credit card # down on their filing copy of the printout that contained my name and address. As it’s already in the computer, which one presumes is password protected, why? I pointed this out to the receptionist who said it was how she was trained to do it. That said, l really have no complaints. it was a pleasant stay all round.

Very clean and very friendly and helpful staff. I stayed in room 127 which had been remodeled in a really tasteful way, with lots of wood accents. It feels like a little cabin. Everything was spotless. The front desk was very kind and accommodating. I would definitely return!

It's an older building, so you do hear other people, either walking by or in their room watching tv. However it's reasonable in terms of noise and I haven't been bothered by it at all.

Our stay at your motel was excellent, If i had anything bad to say about you establishment to be honest i can't think of anything. Your front staff were excellent and that young man at the front desk could be my son in law one day. Everyone there was excellent and you or your company should give them all a raise they were all so presentable and polite. Again thank you and if we ever come back to Nanaimo your place is where we will stay.

Staff were really nice. They were very helpful. There was a table and chairs outside my room for smoking and they moved it away from my room because I'm pregnant. Clean when we walked in. Beds are super comfy. AC worked well and also right next to a breakfast place too. The price wasn't bad either.

I didn't like that people can smoke outside of their room because it can get into other rooms if the windows are open. Maybe have a separate area for smokers and not right outside of the room.

The Motel was clean and comfortable.We had a fridge and microwave. The hotel was close to downtown with a restaurant next door and a market across the street. The stall was very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again. Thank you,

My girlfriend and I came to Nanaimo for a night for my birthday, shopping and Casino. Front desk girl was very friendly. Just a basic room but very comfortable,quiet and clean. Would recommend great room for the price.

Couldn't get the coffee pot to stay on and heat up.

The check-in was exceptional. Friendly, welcoming front desk manager Al was a treat to speak with! The room rate was very reasonable and was the main reason we stayed there.

The bed my wife slept in had a mattress that was old and worn out. It was uncomfortable for her as it dipped excessively in the middle. The sheet on that bed also had a permanent pink stain on it .
