Heritage Inn Hotel & Convention Centre - Cranbrook

Loved that breakfast was included, even when the restaurant was closed Sunday/Monday, there was a boxed breakfast available. Very quiet hotel (other than traffic on the Strip). Very clean and comfortable. Loved the indoor pool and jacuzzi! The central location was perfect for walking to the Tamarack Mall, since I don’t drive. A great menu at the restaurant as well.

Shower pressure was weak, even though running the water from the faucet was very strong? Next time I would try to book a non-adjoining room and away from the street. Oh yeah, the sink in room 205 didn’t drain well, (the one before the bathroom).

The 'premium' room we had was very spacious with a small couch and an extra table where we could eat dinner comfortably. Comfortable bed.

We expected more from the breakfast. It was just ok-ish. We booked this hotel because breakfast was included. The hot options were ok, you get to fill up on hash browns, watery scrambled eggs from a carton, sausages, and pancakes. That was it. There was no other option. No cereal, no yoghurt, no fruits, not even a toast bread or jam. No juice dispensers, you had to ask the server for juice.

Location. Room was clean and value was okay. Exceptional breakfast for sit down and the boxed breakfast was okay as well.

Shower was very stiff and hard to change from shower to tub. I had to get husband to do it. No service in room as we were staying 3 days. I had booked a king bed online and we ended up in a room with two queens...not sure how that happened. Plug ins were very loose and items we plugged in you couldn't tap and would fall out.

Location is on the main highway and is walking distance to the main part of the town. The bed was comfortable and the room had a nice sofa. Parking was easy and plentiful. 9 minute walk to Allegra Mediterranean restaurant, my favorite spot in Cranbrook

Very minor complaints. The bathroom light had a loud fan that could not operate independently. The bathtub would have been improved with a grab bar and shelf for soap and shampoo.

I liked the fitness room! (although it could have used an attached bathroom). The location is very central, the rooms are new-ish and clean smelling, and the staff are very friendly. We'll definitely stay here again.

We liked that they had a pool and hot-tub, however, it was not very hot. A little warmer than a tepid warm bath. They could turn this up quite a lot. Part of the reason we chose this hotel was for the fitness center and hot-tub.

Nice hotel, very clean. Swimming pool on the first night was nice temperature. Overall, we would definately stay again.

Swimming pool on second night was very cold so had to get straight out. Could have more options at breakfast, especially for kids, cold options like yoghurts or cereals would be great.

Great breakfast. Complimentary coffee, tea, iced water in lobby. Hot tub & pool area very good. Nice comfy restaurant.

Threatening bold lettering poster on window of check- in counter. It said Be Kind or Leave . What an unwelcoming, threatening way to be greeted when you have reserved, paid, and arrived to start your holiday. The female attendant really didn’t soften the atmosphere at all either. The right way , if they have been having difficulties, would have been for it to say We Appreciate Your Patience and Politeness.

The staff were amazing, the front desk called to ask if everything was up to standard and to let us know about the time change. The server at breakfast was working very hard and doing a great job! Honest we did not expect anything amazing from reading reviews but were very pleasantly surprised. Have stayed at more expensive hotels that were not as good. Best hotel included breakfast I've had in a while!

If you are a light sleeper there may be some slight noise from the road and railway but we didn't notice it.

Friendly staff and good location, close to all amenities. Beds were comfortable rooms are good size

Pool and hot tub could use some upgrades. Free breakfast included rubbery eggs, cold hard pancakes but bacon and hash browns were decent.

while the hotel was dated the location & staff were top notch. Pool & fitness area were better than one would expect for a hotel.

the continental breakfast was… limited. Essentially better than nothing but could have had more fruit options.
