Most friendly, helpful staff we've encountered!! THANK YOU SUNNY. :) A little bit out of town, but right on the river watching the seals at high tide. Secure. Staff on site. Extra large rooms. Comfy beds & pillows. BEST shower after a month of travelling!! Roomy, with a seat and totally adjustable shower head. Kitchen was small but had all that we needed. Large fridge/freezer. Large balcony.

Rugs were a bit grotty, but this was usual this last month. Dining table was high stools. 2nd bedroom had double bed against the wall, and we were unable to pull it out a bit.

WiFi was free. Location was stunning. Right on the river. Huge balcony looking onto river and bird sanctuary. Walking distance to nature walks, central core and ocean pathway. We saw eagles, heron, mergansers, seals and salmon (and many fly fisherpeople) from our balcony. Secure, locked gated parking lot. Large, fully equipped kitchen. Sunny was friendly, accommodating and very helpful with directions to local sights. Early check-in was accommodated with no hassles. THANKS!!

Felt safe with a gate from the street. Pleasant view out to Campbell River. Spacious living room and a nice kitchen. Really quiet all night except for one.

Taking were easily heard one night, maybe soundproofing is not that great, but it was not an issue for us. What was confusing was that Booking.com showed images from all the apartments. So we had no idea what pictures belonged to what we rented and not. We actually thought we were getting the falt with the sauna. I packed swimming wear and was looking forward to some sauna hours only to find out at arrival that the sauna was not in the flat we rented. But it was in the pictures from Booking.com. So that needs to improve!

the appartments are comfortabel and well equipped. We stayed at Riverside sturing a heatwave but with the recently installed heatpumps the appartments were nice and cool. A perfect place for area excursions. Seals and bald eagles to view from your terrace. We are no fishers but if you are you can get a license and start from the backyard. Special thanks to Sunny the site manager who does everything to make you comfortable and feel at home. A true host!

Our host Sonny was was a delight, when he took us to our room and we saw the view, we knew we were in the right spot. We so enjoyed sitting on the porch which was on the river, we watched fly-fisher people, gulls, seals, a couple of kayakers and a paddle boarder. It was tranquil. Our place was lovely, spotlessly clean and the beds were so comfortable, plus we throughly enjoyed using the sauna-what a treat that was.

The apartment is extremely comfortable, and peaceful. It’s lovely to be alongside the river and watch the wildlife and fishermen. The sauna is great too. There is a Walmart, liquor store and excellent eatery in walking distance.

The balcony needed a bit of a clean. As someone without a car it was tricky to get everywhere as it’s a bit out of town. There are local buses but not on weekends.

Lovely suit, well stocked kitchenette- and the sauna was an added bonus. Sunny was very friendly and showed my son and I around the suit when we arrived :)

The main door was very heavy. You need 2 hands to open it, one to turn the key, and one to pull and turn the handle - for the average person this might seem simple, but I have really bad arthritis in my hands, especially in my right thumb- so I unfortunately really struggled with that.

The back of the property backs up against the Campbell River, and the view from the balcony is very nice. The room was large, clean, and spacious. The host was very helpful in giving suggestions as to what to see.

No fault of the lodge, but the town of Campbell River does not have much to offer, and the lodge itself is not in a scenic part of town. Not unsafe, just not particularly attractive.

Good location. Very spacious. Clean and comfortable. Great patio view of the river. Great place to kick back and relax. Plenty of hot water in the shower.

Bed was a bit soft for my taste. Bathroom could use a bit of an update. Reminds me of motels back in the 60s (yes, I'm that old): sink had no counter space and the toilet was the "little butt" size that should have been outlawed 30 years ago at least.

The manager was really helpful and took time to recommend areas to see and eat since this was our first time in campbell river. It was easy to find and was in a good location right off the highway. Has a secure gate which was nice

The bed was too soft and wasn't comfortable. We were on the ground floor and could hear every movement above us.
