Best Western Strathmore Inn

Breakfast had decent selection to satisfy a variety of tastes and filing enough to get you going on your day. The pool provided a nice respite after a long day. We picked the location since it was cheaper to stay here and then drive to Drumheller, Dinosaur provincial park and Calgary versus staying near/ at those places over the span of a couple of days.

There was no elevator in the hotel which was an inconvenience. Not sure what the point was to have luggage carts on each of the floors. We were used to lugging luggage around so we were able to get it up and down the stairs relatively quickly. We had requested to be put next to another family. The booking was made months prior. So not sure why that wasn't possible to accomodate.

Enjoyed our stay. Great management. The breakfast was lovely. Thanks for everything.

The location is excellent. Very easy to access. The breakfast was great. We had a room which had two queen beds with door separating the sleeping areas and two televisions. Travelling with a friend this is an excellent set-up!

Sometimes a bit noisy in the hallway BUT we were on the main floor, the closest room to front desk, pool area, so that is understandable. VEry quiet through the night.

The location was great because it was close to our favourite restaurant in town. Next time we will check out the pool! Great price and a very clean room.

Waffles for breakfast would have been great, because the pancakes were too sweet and chewy. Otherwise good selection of baked goods, cereals, and lots of “build your own” options; like porridge and yoghurt. Fun!

Breakfast was wonderful, staff was very accommodating. Our room is large, and very clean.

I didn’t realize they didn’t have an elevator and we had an elderly couple with us but they accommodated us very well, and I’m not fond of outside entrances but that’s not a dealbreaker for me other than that the place was absolutely wonderful.

It was exactly as expected. Perfect room, how you could privatize it into 2 bedrooms. Clean, cozy, quiet and comfy!

The garbage at the front of the building was overflowing from when we arrived till when we left. Looks bad, and smelt bad

It was awesome gluten-free choices were available for breakfast. The breakfast attendant was very helpful and she brought gluten-free bread and muffin on request. She was able to give information on ingredients, which is important for people with allergies or Celiac disease. We also enjoyed the pool a lot. Rooms were very clean.

The staff was very nice and efficient. Rooms were comfy.

Breakfast was not great and breakfast room was very small. The price of the room was very reasonable so I would stay there again but skip the breakfast.

Young lady causing quite the scene bothering my Grandkids and me in pool area she kept trying to start a fight with someone she was aloud to stay while girls where evicted for doing nothing

Breakfast was great. They had a pancake machine - way better than the messy waffle ones! Lots of choice and fresh fruit too!

Asking such a large deposit is odd. Makes me nervous to have to pay deposit for a stay.
