Hampton Inn & Suites Edmonton/West

Exceptional front desk ladies Lily and LJ greeted us with their beautiful smile and warm welcome. Swimming pool area is awesome water is warm in the big pool, my kids enjoyed the mushroom water falls design of the kids pool. Cleanliness of the room is ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I usually spot check our room when I go to hotels.

I am not aware that there is no microwave in our suite we call the front desk they said standard room don't have microwave which is a little bit disappointment and not expected. Overall our stay is excellent and looking forward to be back again.

Breakfast was always delicious. The variety is always a must for breakfast choices. Although I was looking for raisin and corn flakes choice, Cheerios was on too. Coffee always delicious and I love the idea of the side table with coffee, hot water and lemon water that we can have at any time.

I was looking for a mirror that I can look while I was fixing my hair in the back, sometimes hotels have extended arm mirror or some sort of mirror that adjusts to see back of your head.

Hampton Inns never disappoint! I love them and chose them wherever I can. Rooms are always fresh and clean. Beds and pillows and comforters super comfy! Really the cleanliness is all I care about when choosing a room, but they also offer 24hr coffee/tea station which is lovely, no need to dirty single use coffee machine in room just pop down to lobby for a fresh and good coffee any time. Location is good, a short easy maybe 5 min drive to west ed mall. Walmart and other stores/restaurants available right across the road.

The barn door on bathroom was a new experience to me. Does not give full privacy and with no fan in bathroom the whole situation could go badly lol Thankfully the hubby did not join on this trip, just me and the girls so it wasn't an issue this trip but would be only thing I might double thing about if staying at this location again.

very well maintained. big rooms. late pool access. friendly staff. any issues, they fixed immediately. the continental breakfast was full of variety and very clean. the hotel staff were very attentive and kept the trays full.

the tiny garbages in the rooms. seems silly, but the garbages (one bathroom, one main area) were not big enough to hold much of anything. a simple call to the front desk and they were their instantly to dump, but inconvenient. The bed was also awkward to sleep on, I actually had to sleep on the opposite end of the headboard as the mattress was tilted

The room was tidy and the water in the pool was warm.

It took us 30 mins to get our room when we check in. And the bathroom is small. Only few selection for breakfast and the dining area is small too. You have to wait until somebody gets done before you can sit and eat.

I liked that we could still get a hot breakfast in to go containers. I liked how accommodating the staff was.

I didn't like how we didn't really know about getting the hot breakfast right away it wasn't very clear on how to get it. I didn't like how we couldn't use the hot tub, I've been to hotels during covid for work and before we just had to book a time slot to use the amenities so I didn't like that only double vaccinated people could use them.

The bed was very comfortable. I liked the coolness level of the room. The pool and hot tub were excellent.

The sliding bathroom doors were extremely weird, in that they didn't close all the way, so there was no real privacy in the bathroom. It was bad enough staying there with my spouse, but if I was travelling for work or just with a friend it wouldn't work at all. It's a real shame, because apart from this we loved the hotel, but because of this I wouldn't stay there again.

The room was very pleasant, it was cozy and clean. That impressed me the most. On our next stays, I will definitely check into Hampton Inn again. The price performance ratio is very good

Not sure if other room has but maybe because of the Covid thing. There is no microwave in our room. Closet and bathroom are shared door. You can’t even lock the bathroom; so there is no privacy if you intend to use it.

Loved the location. Hotel was very clean and quiet. Never stayed at this location before but would definitely recommend.

Front desk clerk was texting me atleast once a day (not sure if it was automatic or not) but when I'm on holidays it was a little bit annoying having my phone going off when we are downtown enjoying time with my family.

Quiet, clean staff best quality assurance. I would say somehow we were inadvertently placed in a handicap room . Our expectations were met however with high standards an quality assurance of the hotel.

Everything was fine .
