Homewood Suites Calgary Airport

This property and the staff are exceptional. I called regarding late check in and shuttle transport and was pleasantly surprised how easy it was. Our suite was clean, spacious, nicely decorated and well equipped. The staff were friendly yet professional. It was a very pleasant start to our vacation and I would definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a great hotel at a reasonable price while in Calgary.

After seeing the property and dealing with staff the only thing we were disappointed in was that we were only staying the one night but other than that there were no issues.

Firstly - a wonderful welcoming Staff!Homewood Suites was connected to Hampton Inn and allowed us the benefit of having a restaurant on site. an added bonus we didn’t expect! ..perfect for our short stay to spend time with our small granddaughters. the shuttle to and from the airport was added bonus. we didn’t need to rent a car because this hotel offered everything required for our stay. it ticked all of our boxes! ✔️a separate bedroom with door ✔️kitchenette with dishes and pans to prepare for light snacks. ✔️two TVs ( so we didn’t have to watch cartoons for 3 days ;) ✔️pool - saltwater plus a clean hot tub ✔️wonderful hot breakfast included ✔️24/7 coffee tea station ✔️comfortable beds! also a pull out sofa. ✔️FANTASTIC family friendly staff that went over and above to make us feel welcomed.

the lighting in the room could be brighter. could also used a non-stick frying pan.

I always found it to be clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and loved the pool and basketball net out back. Breakfast was great every morning, nice variety, everything tasted great. I found our room very sound proof, we never heard the planes or other guests even though the hotel was full due to tournaments. Bed was good, weird how there was no fan in the bathroom so it took a while to unsteam after a shower. We spent a lot of time at the pool, and it was always clean and well stocked with towels. also, it’s only like a 10-15 min drive to downtown Calgary. and a short drive to most places in general

We really don’t have any complaints. However I do find it strange that the lady at the front desk didn’t tell us there was free supper in the reception area, especially since I was asking if there are any restaurants nearby for dinner. But oh well. That was the only thing that was strange to me.

I really like the hotel, its clean, the room we stayed is good, i love that idea to have a social event when visitors gathered and have some really good snacks, I really appreciate the friendly staff they are very kind kitchen staff and front desk very kind people. Very good breakfast i wish theres bacon. Lol! But overall it’s excellent!

A complimentary water bottle would be nice. Just a thought.

Breakfast choices were wonderful. Fresh fruit and hot choices as well as yogurt and muffins. The desk staff were great. We didn’t use housekeeping to keep our suite free from extra people but it was well stocked and we didn’t need anything extra.

The hot tub was not functioning which was a huge disappointment to us. We booked this as a mini stay vacation and looked forward to a good soak. The desk gave us complimentary drink coupons and a complimentary appetizer coupon. Food and drinks were great and appreciated but it wasn’t what we had planned. The furniture in the suite was very uncomfortable. Neither the couch or the chair were made for periods of sitting. Maybe the age of the furniture…

Accommodation was clean and comfortable. We stayed due to a flight cancellation and were re-booked onto a flight arriving close to midnight. The hotel staff were excellent and responsive to our messages on our expected arrival time being close to 1am. Room was clean and had a small kitchen.

We were there only 8 hours....not enough time to not like anything!

Great location and facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very tasty with a large selection so something for everyone. Would recommend to family and friends without a doubt!

Due to covid rooms are only being cleaned every 4 days. We were staying 10 nights and would have preferred our room to have been cleaned more frequently (totally understand that this is due to covid though)

We appreciated an early arrival because we had a toddler in our family group. The hotel is perfectly situated for a quick 5 minute drive to the airport. We liked the suite arrangement with separate bedroom, kitchen facilities, and very good hot breakfast.

Two things: we could not regulate the temperature in our shower; it was either too hot or too cold. Also, because we could not open a window, the air got rather stale in the room during the night, but the heater/air conditioner was too noisy for a good night's sleep.

Room as advertised and very comfortable. Great breakfast.

Airport shuttle delayed both ways- late flight in and I booked hotel near to the airport specifically. Left waiting 50 minutes. I believe this is unusual.

The main problem was the wifi. it was too insecure for any of our devices to accept it, and the receptionist said this is a common problem. They really need to invest in better wifi. The breakfast was adequate but basic.
