These walls, more reminiscent of a living museum, offer a more immersive retrospective experience than one might typically find in a conventional museum setting, bringing the vibrancy and nuances of the 1970s vividly to life. To deepen the immersive 1970s experience, the hotel exclusively plays music from the 50s, 60s, and 70s during breakfast. Classics like Brian Hyland’s ‘Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini,’ Ray Peterson’s ‘Tell Laura I Love Her,’ Georgia Gibbs’ ‘Seven Lonely Days,’ and Mark Dinning’s ‘The World Is Getting Smaller’ transport guests back in time. The Terrace Hotel’s ‘1970s time-travel’ theme is taken to extraordinary lengths.

Having read the bad reviews of the hotel, I was pleasantly surprised how good the hotel in fact is. It is old but everything works well. The staff is kind and helpful. It is very clean. The room is well furnished, including a kettle and fridge. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom has a good shower over a bath tub, the towels are nice and new and changed every day.

The only inconvenience is lack of power points. The only one to charge your mobile is behind the TV in the corner of the room, far from the bed.

They should rebrand as a 60s theme hotel, everything is so retro and classic. Really fun experience of traveling through time. We were the only guests so pretty much had the place to ourselves. The bed was comfortable, room was clean, nice view of the trees outside. Pool is great and there's a darts room and pool room. Meals are cheap and easy. It rained and the reception gave us their umbrella ☔

Little slow on the communication

Hotel located in the city centre close to all attractions and night market. We came by bus from the airport. Bus stopped in front of the hotel. It was clean and the personel was very nice and helpful.

We booked first night with breakfast. We ordered European one and they didn't have all ingredients. Second night we went to the morning market for breakfast.

Staff, breakfast and other provisions were worth our money, and the location was excellent. I will recommend this hotel to friends and office colleagues.

There is nothing about the hotel that I don't like. It was probably a miscalculation in our part to come during Ramadan but the absence of a big tourist crowd was, otherwise, a blessing. We have the whole city to ourselves, so to speak! :-)

The staff were very much assisting to my needs and always readily available to help me whenever they could.

I think the fitness center needs some renovation in terms of the space and also the equipment. The hotel exterior also needs some upgrade too.

Great location and very affordable for one night stay.

When booking a hotel here, ensure to tell the staff beforehand to select a non-smoking room (for non-smoker). Smoking smell is apparent during night sleep and makes it difficult to concentrate on late night activity

The staff is really nice, all the mentioned facilities are working great.. walking distance to the main attraction city centre, ample parking spaces, few mins away from gadong (for malls/night markets)

wish there is water faucet, i couldnt find tv remote control, and minimal 3-socket pin.

Perfect. This place offers good accomodation for reasonably value. Good wifi, clean pool, spacious rooms. What else you need? :)

I didn't book for any breakfast because our time staying there is to short.

I would like the toilet have a hose pipe next to the toilet bowl.
