The one bedroom apartment we stayed in, was well laid out, and good sites, lovely balcony overlooking golf course, huge king, size bed, separate bathroom, and separate toilet, making a great place to stay for the week. Having a swimming pool available on site, althoughat least 100 m away, was great given the hot weather.

The price was very high, given the facilities and standard. Although very good, probably not quite worth more than $300 a night. Also, the room probably needs a little bit of work, such as some big stains on the carpet, and not having a coffee, plunger or coffee machine seemed strange at that price point.

I liked the layout and the space. There was everything we needed in the kitchen. The washer and dryer were good, but the dryer turner kept coming off.

The room service menu wasn't very good when it came to options. I felt there were more options for alcohol and drinks then there was for food. The toilet was too small because of the way the door operated. If the door was a "barn style" slider, or if the door opened out into the hall it would have been fine, but having the door open into the toilet we had to stand over the toilet to close the door, and my grandma is tiny, so if she couldn't even get in the toilet properly then that is an issue. Also, a list of extensions to get hold of the room service or reception next to the phone would have been better. I had to google the numbers to call and half the time they never answered. Parking was horrendous.

We spent a weekend visiting Swan valley. The Sebel is on the outskirts of the Valley, but still reasonably close.

Check in for the Sebel apartment is at the Vines reception desk. This would be made easier if 1) the website for the Sebel apartments had the instruction to check in at the Vines Hotel reception and 2) if there were signs installed on site at the Sebel apartment carpark that instructed you to checkin at the Vines Hotel Reception. We did not know this and discovered it by asking people where the reception desk was located. A staff member also helped us. Once you have checked in and are given a map of the site it is easy to get around. The pool is very cold.

I loved having a kitchenette, where we could have our own meals prepared. I loved the apartment as it was spacious and clean. We had a balcony which overlooked the golf course and the kangaroos would converg on the course at night, which is lovely to see the wildlife in their natural environment. The pool area was lovely but it was quite inconvenient to have to walk all the way to the cafe to buy drinks and food. I thought that there may have been a bar/cafe nearer the pool.

Some food and drink nearer the pool. That we had to carry our suitcases upstairs, as we had no lift in our area

Nice location, spacious rooms, friendly and helpful staff. A nice place to stay but small things let them down given this is a premium option

1. Drinking cocktails and beer out of a paper cup, recommend they get hard plastic reusable ones like most places for pool area. 2. No\poor directions from the Sebel carpark to the reception. It was never communicated that the Sebel uses the novatel reception and quite a walk when you don't know where your going. 3. Spar was always full of kids, kids pool unused. Spa water also looked brown and dirty. Not sure why. Would love an adults only area with spa 4. Pool bar not open much. 5. In a place surrounded by distillery's and brewery's found it disappointing that no local produce was available. Gin flyte consisted of uk gins and only WA beer on tap is little creatures. Would love to support local.

The rooms are spacious and comfortable. We loved our stay here. the kids loved the kangaroos outside our door. It was a comfortable stay with everything. we needed in the apartment and we will definitely return.

Needs some minor updating before it gets run down. Scruff marks on walls beside the entrance doors and wood furniture needs updating/repair. The playground could do with updating also. 5 year old and 2 year old could only use the slide as monkey bars way too high even for me as an adult :)

We enjoyed the big rooms, 2 tvs and a dvd player, the patio and the view. The mini golf was an excellent addition to the resort and the swimming pool! The cafe on site is excellent- good and fast service.

The toilet is so small you can not go in there and close the door. You either don't close the door at all or have to back up to the toilet cistern so you can close the door and stil have your toes, the sofa bed (in the sitting room) is very soft and only good for a child as gives an adult a back pain.

Beautiful vista with birdsong and grazing kangaroos. 2 bedroom apartment had a fabulous bath for soaking. The beds were very comfortable.

The balcony setting was not clean, as was the balcony. Not just leaf litter, it clearly hadn't been cleaned for some time. Although the apartment was adequate, it was dated and tired.

I loved the setting! The little apartment is compact and has everything one needs. Beautifully furnished and with a lovely view over the golf course.

The only thing this little apartment lacked was a little coffee machine! It would also have been great to have a small sachet of laundry detergent for those who hadn’t thought to pack some…

Lovely 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment that has been well maintained and nicely fitted out. All the amenities that you need. Very comfortable beds and great shower and bath. The kitchen was well stocked with everything that you'd need if cooking. Great size dining lounge room with TV and music provided. It was very quiet and the setting very picturesque.
