Seashells Scarborough

Amazed at how neat and clean the apartment was and access to pool shops and beach. The staff were friendly at all times greeting you with smiles and treating you well. Check in went smooth and the receptionist whom handled it made it easy. There was no holding and pending of large amounts of money from the customers credit card. There was nothing to dislike our apartment had no maintenance problems or requests,for additional essentials.

This place was perfect. It wasn’t fancy but it was comfy and clean and exactly what we wanted. There were two single beds in one room for our kids and a walk through an en suite and laundry to our room. Two balconies. Big screen TV with great internet. Right on the beach with under cover parking. Perfect’! We had friends who stayed at the Rendezvous who were furious as there was no kitchen and they had to share a bed with their child and they paid so much more! So glad we stayed here.

The location is excellent! Close to shops (including a large Coles), restaurants, and the beach. The view from apartment 303 (and all the apartments at the front of the main Seashells building), is exceptional. The pool was clean and the perfect temperature. We didn't use the pool next door but it also looked clean and inviting. Our apartment was clean, a good size and the wifi was great. We honestly couldn't fault our stay.

If I was pushed to be critical, the only thing I can think of is that the sun beds by the pool aren't very comfortable. But, totally fine if not lying on them for an extended period.

Location is perfect with a view of the sea. More parking space on site would be better. We have to park next door as parking spaces are often taken by other customers.

The shower upstairs is dangerous to use. Water from shower build up quickly and didn't drain fast enough so water can splash outside the shower. If water got splashed outside the shower area, it's slippery and potentially dangerous. The spa tub in the downstairs bathroom is very high to climb into it. A hand rail would help and safer to climb into the spa tub. A curtain would be good to avoid water splashing onto the floor making it slippery and dangerous.

Magnificent view of the sea (and of the rainbows) and the beach. Coles supermarket was just next door and made it convenient for us to get our groceries for our own cooking. Private parking was available. We had to extend our stay by two nights due to unforeseen circumstances and they were able to accommodate us.

Nothing much not to like. If you are not driving, it can be considered a bit far from the city area. However, Karrinyup Shopping Centre is quite near so you can get your shopping fix there too!

I often stay at the Scarborough Seashell hotel. I love the premises! In front of the main beach in Scarborough, the rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Only one minor thing: the spa in the main bedroom wasn't working.. we were looking forward to try it out but unfortunately we weren't able to make it work for us. Everything else has exceeded our expectations!

A great location across the road from the beach. 2 balconies provided views of the beach. Apartment was well appointed and clean. Master suite was lovely but a bit quirky

The shower in the master suite could be visible from downstairs. A simple curtain at the top of the stairs would provide privacy when needed.

The location of this property is a 10 out of 10! Even though the air conditioning wasn’t all throughout, it did a great job (along with the fans) of keeping each room cool. The beds were comfortable and all accommodations were great.

The secondary bathroom sink is very difficult to do anything with. It’s very small.

Our group of elderly people was impressed with the ease of access to our apartment's. Parking is close and lift is secure and easily accessed. Everything needed is supplied. Lovely view and sunset. Loads of cafes quite handy. Easy walk to beach. Even supplied a trolley for carrying luggage to room. We had 2 toilets and one large bathroom with a huge spa bath.

We thought that the plumbing in the bathroom was in need of some attention. It was very stiff to operate, squeaky and difficult to get the right temperature. We were disappointed that the lady on the desk didn't notify us of the trolley that was available until she was asked and most of us had already carried all of our luggage by hand to our room. Otherwise, our stay would have been a 10/10

Absolute beach front. Beds a little harder than I prefer but still comfortable enough. The kitchen extremely well stocked. Washing machine and dryer very appreciated. The heated pool next door lovely.

Parking on the premises a nightmare for anything over small to mid sized car. Some spiderwebs all over the outdoor furniture could be removed to make it a nicer space.
