Geraldton Motor Inn

The hotel was booked as a quick overnighter but it far exceeded our expectations. The variety at the buffet breakfast was great, the room was fresh and clean and the bathroom/shower was excellent. The room was spacious enough as well for our family of 4. We would stay again the next time we travel through Geraldton.

The only thing that would stop us from staying longer would be the location - it is good being on the highway for an overnighter but we would prefer to be on the foreshore if staying in Geraldton. The traffic was fairly loud at night with trucks coming past. Another thing that would make the stay better is if the TV had smart capabilities to use streaming channels like Netflix.

The room was quite spacious for three people in fact it was bigger than any other motel I’ve have stayed in and was very clean . It had a small extra room for our cases and clothing - we were impressed . It was close to the beaches and eating facilities and to shopping .

There was nothing that we didn’t like and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again . It was roomy and clean and affordable and close to all amenities . We enjoyed our stay and rate it 10 out of 10 and would recommend it to anyone .

The room was very large and comfortable. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I slept well. There is a complimentary continental breakfast which I did not take advantage of due to medical conditions. But what I heard from other guests was particularly good. I was staying here for medical appointment reasons, and it was a very convenient location for my needs.

For what I wanted there nothing not to like about the room and the service of it. Every time I went out I came back to very professionally cleaned room which made it an exceptionally good stay.

Good location and easy to find. Large room with everything you need including microwave. Extremely clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was basic but nice and it was good to be able to have an early breakfast before hitting the road. I would definitely stay again and have no hesitation recommending to others.

No one at reception when we arrived and the poor man who was run off his feet serving in the bottleshop tried to help but couldn't. Luckily a few minutes later I received a text telling me where to find the key. All good in the end.

First impression, cleanliness of unit excellent but overpowering smell of cleaning products had me coughing. The room was extra large, very comfy bed, fluffy white towels.

Needed fresh air but it took brute strength to open the sliding door to the balcony. Despite being on the main road, the double glazed doors were excellent at keeping noise to a minimum .Kitchenette is very basic, some info on how to use the microwave would be helpful. Lastly the curtains were full of holes which really detracted from the quality of everything else.

Staff were friendly enough - room was great - bed was a bit small - lovely and clean, but overall very happy.

I was totally shocked by the way staff handled Covid and found it quite confronting as no one carry's on like that in Perth. Triple Vaxed and masked yet squeezing arms through closed doors to hand us the key!! The level of fear was next level and blew my mind and I would not travel there again if there was another breakout. I would go to another hotel where they do not act like that. Even hospital in Perth is not that bad!

Simple and straightforward contact-free checkin process, which was handy since we arrived in the early evening. Motel restaurant is handy for when you aren't fussed about dinner fare. Room was clean, tidy and comfortable. WiFi worked pretty well.

The road setup of the highway outside the motel means that if you drive out you'll always have to go around the block before you can come back into park. But there's not a lot the motel can do about that, given the location.

Breakfast was sufficient. We didn’t know you could order other things from a menu. The restraunt was amazing. LOVED the food there. Quiet location considering the road it’s on. Loved the double glass doors to keep the sound out.

There were renovations happening underneath us. Drilling and banging on Saturday. That’s perfectly fine. We understand it has to be done sometime. But we had decided on a restful day in Saturday. It would have been good to know that was going to happen and we would have made different plans. It only happened for maybe a few hours. But just a notification for your guests would be thoughtful.

Clean and spacious.

Facilities are old. We arrived after working hour, it took some time for me to locate the key box; you have to walk PAST the restaurant to reach the office, so hope there’s a better sign next time. There’re microwaves but no stove, so watch out if you want to cook dishes. Our room faced the road so there was some noises at night.

The room was pretty huge. We were a family of 4 with 2 young kids and we really enjoy we could move the beds as they had wheels and put them together so my youngest one could not fall of the bed. Staff were really good and helpful. The plus is they have the restaurant next door, so no need to take the car and drive to chase a place to eat. The food at the George's bistro was amazing, tasty and plate were well filled, nicely dressed up as a 3 stars plate. Kids crumbed chicken and chips was huge and really really really yummy. All our orders were just wow. Really blow my mind as I am really picky when it comes to go eating outside. A rare thing when it comes to dine out and if you don't know the place. And the cherry on the top is the continental breakfast included in the price of the room was awesome. A real automatic coffee machine to help you waking up and really tasty and fulfilled buffet. We really appreciate it in the morning before heading back on the road again. Save us time 😁.
