Rooms were slightly small Cleanliness was an issue, dirty countertops and balcony. Bedrooms could have been cleaned better prior to arrival. Clock was not working and dryer knob was missing

Pros: -Staff was extremely friendly & helpful -WONDERFUL location!! Close to tram, shopping and excellent restaurants -Apartment was comfortable as well as beds -Great pool and gym -Air conditioning
Cons: -VERY loud, the windows don’t do a very good job of keeping the street/city noise out -Patio was very small, with the patio set provided there was no room to actually sit and use it -Room could use a fresh coat of paint, it was clean and well maintained IF you don’t look too closely -We found two different items in the room that were from previous occupants. So cleaning before we got there could have been better

Fantastic accommodation. Area modern and attractive. Staff fantastic. Having a dishwasher washing machine/dryer was bliss. Attractive views as trees hide streets. Very quiet. Two minute walk to the free tram. Easy pleasant walk to DFO shops. Under 10 minute pleasant walk to Skybus and Southern Cross train station.
No electric blankets. It is winter! Walking to pool/spa in another building was really cold, especially as we had to first go to reception and get a key and then walk outside to the building. We heard an alarm - no instructions given. When we left our building we found everybody else standing outside.

The location was convenient, the staff who helped us with the check in and amnesties was amazing! Didn’t catch his name as we had to book this in at the last min but he was helpful with our questions and directions. :)
The dryer didn’t work and they couldn’t find the spare key for the 2 bedroom apartment but still was vey helpful with solutions to how we can manage our group with the luggage’s after we checked out and if we needed to come in separately because of the key situation, they offered to let us in if necessary using the master key.

This is my third stay with Sebel- the staff are always incredibly welcoming and helpful. The rooms are always clean and spacious. The lounge and beds are very comfortable and it's great to have access to a washing machine to do my laundry. It's also a surprisingly quiet place to stay so I never have problems sleeping and the aircon also makes the stay more comfortable year-round.
There was no sink plug so it was difficult for me to wash my dishes without using the dishwasher. There were also no racks in the oven so I was not able to use that either. The cleaners had also managed the miss a previous tenant's underwear down behind the back of the couch- pretty disgusted I had to dispose of that myself.

Staff was really friendly when we checked in. But asking for dishwashing powder from the desk the lady kept saying what? What? Instead of excuse me, which my partner found rude. The room was spacious enough for two people, the kitchenette was a great size. Also a great location.
The shower door in our room make a click noise when your closed it, the door from the bedroom to the bathroom you had to slam it shut all the time which was annoying when your use the bathroom in the middle of the night( sorry to the neighbours).

The location and the view was great. Central to most things and 2 tram stops close by. The apartment was also huge, 3 bedrooms with a huge balcony
It was an interesting setup, the apartment is not part of the Sebel hotel, it’s in a completely separate apartment block. But it didn’t bother us, we used the pool at both the Sebel and the apartment block. Also it was only minor but apartment needed a few things like tea towels and more plates and cutlery

Loved the decor of the hotel, the wall of water near the pool, the lobby and the wonderful staff who checked us in. Great location close to the water and the tram. The rooms were clean and they accommodated our request for twin beds in one of the rooms. Ice trays already frozen in the freezer was so helpful! 24 hour reception was helpful when we checked out early in the morning for our early flight.
We didn't get the room that we booked for via booking.com. Space looked smaller and furniture was more dated. Tiles in elevator were missing/badly worn. One staff member on Saturday was very rude when one of our guests enquired about the gym, just wanting to have a look - had to sign in before accessing and ended up being unnecessary effort. No help when it came to trams it attractions as we were coming from NSW.

Mostly very happy with the room. Comfortable, well equipped and located. Short distance to Southern Cross,Marvel Stadium and the City free tram. The staff were efficient, helpful, friendly and courteous. Overall very happy with it.
The couch had a burn mark and one of the kitchen chairs had a tear. The TV cabinet was in poor condition and the small radio/CD player was way out of date. The rose in the shower could not be tightened and kept falling. Balcony was small and only had a view towards the next building.

Great location. Walking distance to great restaurants, DFO, tram station, secure parking, clean rooms which were well equipped. The beds were good with nice linen. Modern and airy, spacious and stylishly decorated. Friendly and helpful reception staff.
We struggled a bit to find the correct building where we were booked in, as Sebel occupies a few buildings in that area. The parking of our car in the correct parking garage was also a bit of a struggle. At first we parked in the wrong parking garage. We advised reception to supply guests with a map of the exact building for parking and accommodation. Reception was very helpful though and granted us some free parking to make up for the back and forth walking and driving to find the correct parking garage and -space. That was indeed gracious of them.
