Park Regis Griffin Suites

Clean, very well-maintained especially for the amazing price. Great area and so close to public transport that goes straight into city. Cleaners did not bug me and only went into my room while I was out, which I preferred. Very friendly reception staff.

Requested a double bed, but did not realize that meant 2 twin singles would be pushed together and clothed over. The gap in the middle of the bed was not very comfortable. Also a cleaner left my apartment door wide open while I was out so that was a security hazard but nothing was stolen. Called after-hours reception and I was told I would be spoken to about it the next morning but that didn't happen.

Quiet room and location, convenient to public transport (tram stop almost out the front of the hotel). Secure parking available off-site, but only a short walk from the hotel. We were upgraded from a studio to a suite room. There was a nice-looking café - restaurant next to the lobby, but we did not go there as we had other plans.

We did find some normal habitation noises coming from the apartment next door in the morning, as there was an adjoining door, but we were not travelling with them. This wasn't particularly bothersome.

Excellent location, near city. tram access. KITCHEN facilities available (which was hard to find near the city). Excellent staff, accomodating, helpful at providing us with parking options when we didn’t meet clearance for underground parking.

The queen sized bed was two single beds pushed together. Neither of the TVs (bedroom or living room) were smart TVs, needed to purchase HDMI cable or other device for Netflix. No laundry facilities (but we knew this when booking, it was on the listing). No oven (but we knew this when booking, it was on the listing). No pool or gym (but we knew this when booking, it was on the listing).

The hotel is ~20mins away from the centre of St Kilda, which is a good thing as it is relatively quiet. I was upgraded from a studio to a one-bedroom apartment, which was super nice. The apartment was spacious and had everything you would need for a short or medium-term stay. Overall, I'm very happy I chose to stay there and would 100% come back.

It's a minor detail really but the carpets probably need a clean.

The staff were so kind and happy to help at the drop of a hat. The rooms were large and much more comfortable than a hotel room is for a family of 4 Arrangements we’re made for our car as it was too large to fit in the underground car park, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Location was perfect! Rooms were quiet (couldn’t hear other guests or st kilda Rd traffic). A 100m from a tram but easily a good half hour walk into the city centre

It was a little dated - but this was reflected in the price. The cleaning crew could do a better once over (a hiding beer can was found from previous guests and crumbs were in many of the kitchen cupboards) - the the beds, and bathroom were spotless.

The hotel location is excellent, not far from the city and a short 15-minute walk to Chapel Street, or 5 minutes to Albert Park. The rooms are spacious and have modern facilities.

The wifi was terrible, it was difficult to connect and then the strength was very poor, hard for the kids to watch YouTube even. Limited parking onsite as well, they did accommodate us out the front, this was great, but otherwise it was not really large vehicle freindly.

Staff are so welcoming and their assistance is forthcoming.. The motel is in a perfect location for us when staying in Melbourne. I love walking Albert Park Lake situated one block away. Bottle shop and food stores close by. Public transport out front. And private paid parking is available.

There is nothing we didn’t like.. that’s why we keep going back..

walking distance to Alfred Hospital which was integral to our stay. room was clean with plenty of tea and coffee provided. Staff made up the sofa bed without additional charge and both Linnie and Darish were fantastically accommodating and eager to meet our needs. Elena in Purple Cafe was lovely and provided us with much needed fresh brewed coffee each day.

internet was problematic and after failing to get it to work we fell back on using our personal hotspots.

Having separate rooms which let teenagers retreat when needed. Comfortably beds, having laundry facilities was excellent. plenty of space for everyone. Great housekeeping each day.

More jams, butter and little condiments to put on toast and things. Rocky feeling in the lift. Having a spatula for use with the frying pan. The attached coffee shop wasn't open for most of the long weekend.

The size of the 2 bedroom apartment was quite generous. The kitchen had a fridge, microwave, kettle, dishwasher, cutlery and glasses, which made it easy for our stay. The bed's were super comfy and having individual air conditioners in the rooms ensured a comfy night for everyone. Great location with heaps of street parking and a tram stop out the front.

The heating & air conditioners didn't work when we got there, and took the staff about an hour to fix. We had informed them ahead of time that we were a family and the bed in the lounge area wasn't made up on arrival. The staff made a double bed up, then we later realised that one of the couches opened up to a single bed. Since we had young adult kids staying, we made the extra beds up, but knowing that that was an option would have been great. The room itself was a bit aged, could do with a face-lift.
