Clean comfortable accomodation with good facilities in room even including a microwave oven, not often to be found in a motel room. Good bed, reliable hot shower, flat screen TV. I liked the fact that there was colour in the room, not sterile grey/white/plan walls so common these days. Felt a little like staying at a friend’s home Easy to locate entering Benalla. A last minute booking but would be happy to stay again..

Older motel which needs some external cosmetic upgrades, garden reno, paving etc but nice lawn/pool area available & rooms better quality than exterior might suggest.

We had a family room for 4 which has 2 rooms separated by the bathroom/toilet , that was excellent for our kids. The room was clean ,quiet and had all we needed, microwave, toaster, coffee and tea. For the price we paid , it was a good place to stay , could not ask for more. My kid left the ear pods (with significant sentimental values) behind after we left for Melbourne, we called the owner/manager who told us to call back the next day after he checked with his staff. We called him the next day ,he told us he had them and would keep them for us. We never expected to get them back but we did when we passed through Benella on our return trip. We would definitely stay there again.

I read few reviewers mentioned the ground could be improved further but NOT an issue for our stay. There is a train line somewhere around but did not bother us either.

A lovely motel with an attractive and comfortable room, spotlessly clean with nice beds, parking right outside the door, very comfortable settee and high-backed chairs, free WiFi, excellent large flat screen TV, very nice compact bathroom with a heating lamp, cutlery, plates and bowls provided along with tea, coffee and biscuits, fridge, remote aircon, microwave, toaster.

Could do with more lighting. Fridge a bit noisy. Kitchen area a little cramped but functional, power point loose on wall. Otherwise fine.

Nice location...bit tired on the outside but could not fault a thing once inside the room...bed was comfy...nice to have actual plates , cups and cutlery... Kettle and toaster! .....there were soap, shampoo and conditioner on the shower wall and soaps and lotions in bathroom alcove....TV worked a treat very big screen and great wifi..... absolutely value for money

Bit tired and messy on outside

Good location, close to restaurants, friendly Staff.

The room was nice, but the reverse cycle aircon didn’t work properly. It was a wet and windy day, the room was ice cold and the heater only blew cold air. After complaining the 3rd time, a man came out with a ladder, to clean the filter (about 6pm at night). From than on it worked until it got too hot and we turned it down a bit. Then only cold air again. Thankfully they had put an electric heater into the room as a back up while we were out for dinner, which we could switch on instead. It was an uncomfortable night without much sleep…

We booked into this motel while dodging floodwaters in northern Victoria, a last minute booking from the app and arriving minutes later, at 7 pm. It was a matter of what was available for a one night stay. This is an older motel but was clean, comfortable and quiet considering its location (right on a highway roundabout). Reception was polite and helpful.

The bathroom arrangement was a bit peculiar: handbasin behind a half wall, shower and toilet in a separate room, but still very workable.

When we opened the door to the room we were surprised to see the size of the room A good size bathroom a little bay outside the bathroom with a Basin and a good size mirror A little kitchen et Plenty of room around the bed with. A big tv on the wall

The only thing l didn't like was the entrance to the motel straight off the roundabout but did see another entrance around the corner

This motel is located in the quiet part of the town, and the room is of a good size and has everything we needed. It was well prepared and cleaned before our arrival. We stayed here twice on the way to Melbourne and on return. It is a good location to break our journey between Sydney and Melbourne.

The motel entrance is too near the roundabout. One needs to be extra cautious when entering the motel driveway.

Owners making a real effort to upgrade facilities. New toilet and wash basin. Beds were comfortable, room was clean, large tv, bedside lights. Really appreciated the soap shampoo and hand cream dispensers..well done on getting rid of the little soaps and small plastic tubes.

Air con was noisy through the night. Motel grounds a little uninspiring. No electric blankets, and air con didn’t seem to pump out much warm air.

I like the location and the simple updated design of the room. It was very clean and comfortable and the heating worked well. The staff were lovely also.

This room would have been too small for more than one person to be in it (which was fine for me but maybe not for a couple). It could also potentially have a microwave.
