To be honest, I was surprised by how much I liked my room (number 21). I didn't realise how small it was when I booked, but it didn't matter. The room is so nicely and compactly laid out, with clean, light coloured walls, that size really wasn't a problem. I've stayed in bigger rooms that felt less welcoming because they were dark or bare brick or something. There was everything we needed. Some other nice points about the place: * Wifi pretty good * Lovely indoor pool, nicely maintained. * Friendly outdoor area with a bit if shade and a BBQ * Drinks (including wine) available at reception

TV was pretty small No microwave, if that matters to you It's not central to the town, but if you're driving that matters little

stayed two nights and we loved it! Very basic room with a queen bed that was very comfortable. But we love simple, basic and clean accommodation. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They did have a breakfast menu but we decided to eat out. The location is great, just a 5 minute drive to the town centre. It was very quiet while we were there. Only a few others passing by to stay the night and they were gone by the morning. We'll definitely stay here again!

Nothing to dislike, it was to our expectation

The owner is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are always very cleaned and house keeping is done daily. Very nice basic motel, all you need for a short stay.

The booking.com booking stated it was pay on arrival however all of our rooms where billed before we arrived taking them all off one credit card when we were going to pay separately when we arrived.

The room was very clean, small but all we needed. Had plates, cups cutlery available which was a surprise. Bathroom and towels clean. The telephone on the wall provided curiosity for the children who had no idea what it was.

No smart tv. Seriously, two tired children and local tv only. Room sanitiser is overpowering but left window open for a couple of hours.

Love the position of the motel. Close to city centre and easy to get out onto the freeway. Staff amazingly friendly and was there early mornings to check if we needed anything or room cleaned. This is the 4th time we've stayed there and would not go anywhere else. Management were very friendly and helpful too.

water pressure was low in the shower. We like heavier pressure!! : )

Good location, walking distance to pub, short drive to main shops. Receptionist is temporarily managing the place & she is doing a wonderful job, coming back 3-4 nights a week for the next month for work, don’t even want to explore other options as I am very happy with this motel

Pool was freezing, even on a hot day. But can understand it’s probably not worth heating up for the little use it gets

I liked the cleanliness of the room and that a cooked breakfast was available. The owners were friendly and booking in was simple.The bathroom had been refurbished.

I found it hard to fill the kettle as it didn't fit under the tap. The bathroom was a bit small.and the shower floor was a bit slippery.

Unfortunately didn’t get to met anyone as we arrived late and left very early. Certainly recommend to anyone it appeared that the room had just been renovated. Lovely decor bed very comfortable but to small for us.

Only criticism would be the bed to small as we are used to a king size bed.

The property was good, the bed was comfortable which is a must. The room was clean and had a great indoor pool and outside seated area to sit back and relax. The property was unable to provide a cooked breakfast on this occasion but gave us a great recommendation of the Art Centre which was a couple of minutes down the road by car. Will definitely stay here again.

The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. He offered some great advice on attractions in the area. The room we had was also very quiet which was a pleasant change from many other places we have stayed at.

I am aware that beds are always a bone of contention as everyone has a different idea of what constitutes a good bed. For me, the bed in our room was a little soft and saggy but otherwise comfortable.
