The position was everything, everything was close by and easy to walk to, the staff Jimmy and Casey were excellent really helpful. The bed was so comfortable in my snuggly little room, I don't need a lot of space and I was very happy with the room size and also the bathroom was a great size. It had everything I needed I wasn't there during the day, I was out and about exploring the city. The Elizabeth Street Mall is less than 10 minutes away, a shoppers paradise. I enjoyed my stay there 😊 you would too.

The stairs was my nemesis as I have bad knees but I still got there in the end, just remember there is no elevator, just the stairs. And for able bodied people it's no problem at all, Jimmy the manager carried my luggage up the stairs for me, I was so grateful.

no lift so a little tiring going up and down flights of stairs after a long walking day (not a big deal though), blackout curtains didn't block light so was hard to sleep with city lights or sunshine especially with summer's late sunset, thin walls so was able to hear neighbours quite easily.

Casey was an excellent host, doing whatever he could to see I had whatever I needed. Even carried my luggage up the stairs. Room was bigger than I expected, a nice surprise. Conveintly located by Liverpool Street.

A lift would be nice.

We stayed for Dark Mofo and the location was perfect. It was also a great price. I wasn’t expecting to be as happy with it from the pictures, so that would be the only thing I would suggest is to take some better pictures. We has already booked to stay in a Queen Deluxe room at the Imperial Backpackers for the next three nights partly because we liked the pictures. I know that sounds shallow but there you have it. We will sh now though that we didn’t make this booking and asked to stay on at your place.

I had left the hotel at 8 p.m. one night to have a meal and when got back it was closed + no one at the reception! The phone numbers provided to handle such situations were not answering. If it wasn't for the letter left for a late comer (not me!) that I read w/o anyone's permission, I would have not got the security code to enter the premises. Note: the reception staff (when at the desk!) were extremely polite/friendly. My comments are NOT meant as a criticism; they are left for the owners to improve the way the place is run.

Location, price, room

The floor looked slightly unclean, or seemed so. I'd suggest that it needed a bit more proper wet cleaning. Room service (rubbish bin emptying) was done on the first day but not on the second.

I liked the privacy of the location it was clean the shower had amazing water pressure.

The noise that came from the room next door would've been ideal to not have especially since I was traveling with a toddler. They were vomiting all night long and coming in and out of there room being loud with the door.

Great location. Very quiet. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Well appointed bathroom. Very good budget option. Would definitely stay again.

Not an issue for us; but access was via stairs - may be an issue for some people. The room was very cold when we arrived - would have been nice to have had the air conditioning on before we got there to take the chill off. (Winter) There wasn’t a spare roll of toilet paper.

The location was central to the city and it was a short walk to the bus the next day. The room and bathroom were a good size.

Walking up two flights of stairs after walking up and down Hobart’s hills was a little tiring. No phone number of the hotel in the room for emergencies was very concerning.

Great location. Staff fabulous. Budget accommodation.

Very small room for twin beds - hardly any space between them. Wifi was atrocious
