Ocean Park Motel & Holiday Apartments

The room, location and price was great! Easy check in and out process. They provide everything you need. Apartment is older but perfectly fine and comfortable for a family.

I didn’t like that we booked this apartment specifically because it stated there was 3 bedrooms. Upon arrival, the 3rd bedroom was locked which made our night difficult with two toddlers who hate sleeping in a room with other people. I would of booked a normal hotel room for a cheaper price had I of known that they would lock the 3rd bedroom from being accessed. It made for a rough night sleep, if the 3rd bedroom was unlocked the unit would of been perfect for our family. Perhaps the management could specifically state that they are limiting access to all the rooms in the future so people are aware of this before they arrive at said toddlers bedtime 😅

The Apartment was spacious and larger then we expected. The beds were superb comfy and our bathroom had lots and lots of room. The beach was also super super close and absolutely stunning worth the early wake up to go for a walk!

In the description it stated a full kitchen and to me that would include an oven which is doesn't. Not a massive issue but would of been nice to have an oven being we stayed for a week. The room also had a strong mold smell and no matter how much we aired the room out we couldn't remove the smell. Also didn't appreciate having to pay for the washing machine after spending $1300 to stay there for the week.

We had a 2 night stay and will definitely be back whenever we are in the area. Located in a great spot within 2 mins walk to 2 great little cafes and the bowling club. Beach access is directly across the road and its a short walk once you hit the beach to the flagged swimming areas. The Hoey is just across the road which was great for a night of entertainment and there were no issues at all with noise once we were in our room. The rooms are exceptionally clean and although a little on the small side, it was fine for our short stay. We did notice there are also apartments on the property and will look at that for a longer stay next time we are in the area. Thanks for having us!

Couldnt get the lockbox to work for the key - but it really wasn't as issue as we just carried the key with us

Great room for a budget. Very clean and close to the beach which was lovely. The day we were supposed to leave our car boot malfunctioned and we got stuck here - 8 hours from home. The owners went above and beyond to squeeze us in for 2 extra rooms at such short notice and even got the rooms cleaned and ready early for us so we could put all our luggage in. Also let us put our luggage in their staff area whilst we waited. Beautiful, clean pool as well. Very friendly staff and we are super thankful for their help.

The room was nice n clean and bed very comf glad they had a low pillow also . The only thing that could improve on is towel rails only one hook near the basin but not near the shower . Sometimes use the top of shower doorframe but that was dusty so just hung it on the door knob . Fixed shower panel also needs replacing as had some bad rust stains - easy to do find one on market place and pop rivet it in . The other was would like to see a USB port near the bed or anywhere for ph recharge . So just change one of the double points to one that has a USB port in it would be very useful. Hope they take on these suggestions - I did enjoy my stay and it was nice n quiet too. Will

Effortless check-in, and I loved the key access pad! The living and kitchen area was spacious and had all the necessary amenities we needed to prepare daily meals. Generous-sized bathroom and bedroom with comfortable beds and pillows. The location is fantastic and was so convenient for our stay. Communication between us and the property was informative and any queries were responded to promptly and with a friendly manner. The domestic ladies were lovely and friendly 😊 Thank you for making our first time experience a memorable one, and we will definitely be planning another trip soon!

Spacious, great location, well equipped

No one was there to check us in. We had to make what was an international call for us in order to reach someone at an answering service. Turns out the manager was just in the yard having a BBQ. Would have been helpful if she left a note so we could have just walked back there since she was the one who let us in anyway. The AC did not work well. The fuse blew a couple of times; had to call the answering service again but they were prompt about resetting it.

First impressions were great, modern, nice and bright with room too move. Don't see that often with 4 kids.

Room looked clean but found very dusty and not clean under things. Including a big carving knife under the bed, old take away container with food reminents and screwed up papers. A fishing lure with hook and line under draws in another room. Also parking is a squeeze but workable.

The location being only 50m from the beach and being literally within 60 seconds of a very good pub and bistro make this property fantastic in terms of location. The unit was self contained with is very handy and bigger than a normal hotel room. the AC worked everything was very clean and smelled amazing. The self check in was also excellent receive an sms with you key code and your in. Free allocated parking is also a plus. The pool was nice and the BBQ area looked nice but we didn't have time to use it.

The only think I can think of is probably more a personal preference is the bed sheets felt like they had been soaked in starch and were super noisy at night when you tried to move.

The bed was very comfortable, the linen was clean. We appreciated the provision of crockery and cutlery etc. It was good to see the provision of a microwave and toaster although we hadn’t come prepared to use these. The decor was crisp but homely.

The heater was too small to warm the room. It’s a shame there weren’t two pegs to hang our towels. Otherwise, this place would have been perfect for anyone staying a night as we did or even longer. For those staying longer, the provision of a bowl to use in the microwave or for serving would have been the cherry on top.
