The location can be quite convenient, surrounded by many restaurants, pubs and with public transport nearby. Options for early breakfast are a bit shy at the moment. It is a quiet hotel and the apartments certainly allow for longer stays with confort. There are limited facilities for guests beyond those in their rooms. Staff welcoming and efficient

Although nothing in particular broken or in need of immediate maintenance, my room could be described as ready for some refreshment. This may include electric / USB outlets by the bedside. I notice the lobby has been refurbished somewhat recently, so maybe more is yet to come...?

Quest apartment had everything needed and the staff were friendly and helpful and great location

It was a great room for what I required but There was major work happening outside the room at the back - not the fault of the Hotel but the noise started at 6.30 am so I suggest you check whether that work is still going on and request a room away from that section. Also, the room I had did have quite a large patio with a table and chairs - mainly set up for smokers I imagine as there was an ashtray there but what a shame the area is not more hospitable - it is so desolate - no plants or shade but there is the possibility there for something more attractive. I would still stay with Quest again in west row though despite these things as I love the art deco and the inside has all been renovated and it is very comfortable.

Excellent location, right in the centre of town. Parking was provided (at a cost) which is very handy in Canberra. The apartments are very close to the public transport hub and there are many restaurants and bars within walking distance. Our unit was very clean and quiet - except when the local bar empties were noisily deposited in the rear laneway early in the morning. The apartments are not luxurious but they are clean and comfortable. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Being in a heritage building is a plus!

The unit had been recently refurbished but some fittings were low quality. The kitchen sink tap was very loose and seemed likely to break away from its piping. The dryer was missing its door, though the staff offered to dry anything we needed, so this would not have been a problem. Very minimal china and cutlery - only 2 place settings for most items.

Excellent location and very easy to check-in and out. Also could leave luggage there after booking out. Excellent walking access to central Canberra shopping, food and other activities. Very close to buses/light rail. Was visiting ANU and so an outstanding location. Also close to the New Acton area and easy walk to lake and across to the gallery etc. The kitchen equipment was excellent and well maintained.

All round excellent. Suspect a rush one day with bathmats. Suggest asking guests about re-using towels etc if staying more than one night.

Central location and very convenient to Canberra CBD, light rail and a lovely walk across to ANU campus. Nearby places to eat in the evening plus many cafes close by for breakfast coffee. Spacious apartment-style accommodation with reasonable facilities; comfortable and warm, and clean. Reception staff very helpful.

Cost is relatively expensive for accommodation provided. Reception closes at 10pm.

The location is superb, just around the corner of the city center, minutes walking to lots of the decent restaurant and local hot spots. And my room even has a private balcony facing the street.

It's not a compliant but when we stay there it's a Friday night and it could be understand that the street is a little bit noisy, our room is just above a busy pub on the street so the noise annoyed a little bit into the night around 12pm, after that, all good, everything is quiet again, just like Canberra.

Location, friendly service, spacious clean room

Help with parking when checking in. I asked where to park until I received my key for the car space out the back and was told to park out the front. Out the front was a loading zone, which I presumed I could park in as I was unloading my luggage, but after checking in I came back 15 minutes later to find a parking ticket on the windscreen.

Great spot in central Canberra. Easy to pull up and unload outside when we arrived. Parking was in the public car park opposite, we were given a token for the car window. Historic building but very modern facilities. We had the 2 bed apartment on the first floor. Property has a lift. Excellent bar on the ground floor of the building just along the street, and a decent Italian restaurant, recommended.

Quiet room, good bed, clean room. and the location is very good (near restaurants).

bathroom noises from time to time (I think the water was seeping slightly and the plunger inside the toilet was activating every 2 hours or so, refilling the tiny bit of water) , basically a big PPPPSSCCCCHHHHHHHH every now and then . Most likely they need to change the washer at the end of the float arm (inside the water tank of the toilet)
