A quiet location surrounded by trees. A quick drive into the town. Georgina communicated effectively via WhatsApp so there were no surprises and she was there to greet us. Having breakfast in the kitchen worked well for us once we purchased cereal, juice, milk and fruit at the local supermarket - those without a car wouldn't like this however.
WiFi wasn't working on day one but was rectified. A price of over US$300 per night not including breakfast was very steep compared to other places we stayed at in Argentina. We did enjoy the space and traditional build quality of the villa, although I struggle to classify it as a "lodge". Steps down from the bedroom to the bathroom were incredibly slippery and needed careful management. It wasn't readily walkable into town, especially with the Ushuaia weather. Entrance to the lodge could do with some "management" as first impressions aren't really positive.
